I am always amazed at how well they communicate without language.

They do have a language, when they make what people call rumbles or trumpets that is a language and each rumble or trumpet says something different we just cannot understand it completely. Scientists are just now discovering what each rumble means through studying them .Elephants can also communicate in low frequency ultrasound, pitches below the range of human hearing .They are communicating all the time, in ways we cannot hear and or understand.

I never noticed 'til you pointed it out. And Khanyisa is putting her lessons into practice. I saw her using her wee tusks to try to strip some bark off that downed marula tree.
