My biggest curiosity about Twist is that if they don't have a specific theme or constructed idea of how to run it, just make it wild, with random limited expansions (similar to arena). Sure, it may not be balanced once in a while. But, just change it up every couple weeks then. It seems like a very easy thing to implement since they have cards with "from the past" text and the new legendary that recruits minions from different expansions.

My guess is it has something do with the player base, like they’re worried it would siphon too many players from Standard. Or maybe the issue could be programming related.

I will never forgive blizzard for what they did with duels. They had a mode with deck building potential of wild, and possibility of building old decks which was buffed up to be playable by treasures. But did nothing with it, gave it zero support and only to delete it...

I really liked Whizbang's Heroes, and seeing how it was handled after the initial launch was incredibly disappointing (not getting the full 2nd month like they said, friend matches being bugged for the mode, only health adjustments, etc.). I really liked it, not so much as a preconstructed mode, but because all the unique hero powers were super duper unique and fun to play with. And being preconstructed made it way easier for me to help me get friends into hearthstone, but being unable to play direct matches with people, and the fact the mode disappeared so quickly put a wrench in that. Especially since it felt like the perfect side mode to stick around and just get 2-3 hero updates each month.

Hello Martian, great video, just one question: what is Noz's purpose in this deck? I think I remember you saying in some older video of yours that it just gets you to your stuff quicker and I would suppose that you are even stronger against aggro, because aggro depends on generously statted minions sometimes with a downside (for example the 2/4 both the minion and your hero take damage).

The biggest frustration with Twist is that they refuse to tell us why it’s randomly gone for months at a time. My guess is it has to do with monetization/player spending or player retention issues. Which they would never outright admit.

i don't get why they abandoned twist, is always nice to have the oportunity to play different metas, sometimes standard is boring and if it wasn't for the recent nerfs wild would be a nightmare imo, even if you somehow ran out of ideas you could just pick random expansions and let it be, balances issues? just ban 2 or 3 cards every now and then, low player base? do a mini event giving some packs, i get that things probably aren't that simple but from a player perspective seems like blizzard doesn't even try it
