Like "give the sniper an ability that freezes enemies to make landing pinpoint shots easier" was the pitch because that feels like an obvious idea but then it was just put in the game like that without any deeper thought or consideration to what that would actually feel like to play

6:55 yooo same. I also got a lil runt of a husky too. They're special as fk. She's just a bit over half the size of a normal female husky, refuses to bark/howl unless there is a treat on the line, and acts more like a cat than a dog/husky. (shes my profile picture from ~6 years ago)

This was an extra enjoyable run! I find supercharge the most enjoyable, the spectacle of the move along with the greater risk vs reward style makes it far more interesting to me than just freezing enemies. Also wow, what was that, 6, 7 war horns?

Hey Race. Your channel a while ago convinced me to try out eclipse and I've been on and off the grind for a few months doing one or two runs at a time, and I'm stuck on the end of E5 on merc. I'm using slicing winds but just struggle. Any tips on how to be more consistent? I've been trying to incorporate more expose with the 3rd atk cancel but I'm still struggling on stages 4-6

Hm, tough question but usually when people are stuck on e5 it’s because they’re not dodging enough or still relying too much on healing. Make sure you’re thinking about where your dash takes you rather than just focusing on the damage you’re dealing with it. Make sure those expose transfers are sharp as well, good luck 🍀

quick update: i've won my first run in a long while since the 1.0 release, and i didn't even know i had umbral mithrix installed, so i beat him! it had no stage 4 so i think i'll have to tweak that, but yeah!! theres no way i'm doing monsoon or eclipse for the time being but thats is super gratifying to have finally won, on a harder final fight no less!

Are you playing an older version of the umbral mithrix? I was looking forward to get into it but seems like they removed the bonfire mode i thought that was an awesome addition

Yeah, I’m playing version 2.2.1 which still has phase 4. Bonfire was the really old versions though. Goorakh has a mod that lets you retry a stage if you fail, maybe give that one a shot!

I can't take the suppressive fire slander. It's better than frag 1v1 me bro. Real talk though, I mostly use it as a utility defensive weapon for the stun, the damge isn't there. Frag has damage but then you need 100 hrs of practice to land the grenades consistently anyway. Both of his specials are kinda wack

For the void key? 13 void items can appear in the key, 42% chance for a slot to roll a white rarity void which there are 5 of, 51% chance to roll a green rarity void which there are 6 of, and 7% for red which there are 2 of. With only 6 green rarity voids rolling one with recycler means I get a 20% chance straight up to get the item I want as opposed to the key box chances. I’d have to roll a green in the key box and then roll the correct green for what I was looking for. At the end of the day it’s not vastly different, taking the key might’ve just allowed me to pick something else useful too. These things aren’t always vocalized but it’s what I’m thinking about when I make these decisions
