The site hasn't changed too much since a buddy of mine and I explored it over 40 years ago. Back then, the tram line was still up that led from the stamp mill structure to the valley below, and there were still a few ore buckets hanging from it. Following the road up the mountain from there, there was a broken down cabin with a claim posted on a stake out front. On another trip, my kids and I camped out beside the cabin and spent the night there. The view of Mackay from the stamp mill was just about the same, except one could see the tram line heading down the mountain.

@@SCSlimBoiseID it’s good to know that it hasn’t changed much over the decades. The tram is still up and there’s a couple of buckets left hanging. The lower workings you can still get to but has to be on a guided tour.

Another interesting find and explore! I think old photos from the time the mines were in production are really useful in showing why they may have done things the way they did. Usually ... all the trees for miles around the mines are cut down for timber, or fuel. The cabins are often small due to the lumber supply and they are also easier to heat. The smoke stacks at the compressor building makes me think the steam engines there powered more than air compressors.

Nice, but again, what's missing here is the story. Perhaps, you can start with some intro to the place you visit, how you get there, then film around, and so on. Right now the video is like jumping from one building to another, without transition. You want to show the story of your trip, and also the story of the people who lived there. I believe my advice is useful. You are great!
