I do not think anyone has explained this to Mark yet, if they have maybe he just never read it 😅 Buuut... Those masks in the game are very useful. The masks are to be used mainly, as an example say Wade died and you couldn't find his body, but you didn't want to restart the entire game again. You grab a mask, I'm assuming it has to look like the mask that person was wearing but maybe it doesn't matter though, and then you draw the pentagram and place that mask in the circle. And boom! That person comes back to life! Just a tip for Mark, Bob, Wade and anyone who happens to read this that plays the game or just starting the game and didn't know!
