This game gives you PTSD with its moments of realization. 2 of my friends where watching the coilhead, one of them with a flashlight, the other without, we went for the chemical waste container with my friend trailing behind me with it, on our trip back we heard distant screaming as the lights went out, the moment that happened, I heard a sound of heavy metal object hitting the floor....and a crunch. I turned around, and he was gone, no scream, no body, just the container. I ran to the exit and stopped, staring right at me was the very coil head my friends were supposed to be guarding. I tried every trick to dodge him, and as I was walking backward, 2 hands reached from the back, and my neck snapped. We got double teamed.

Dude literally today I had a horrifying experience of an Eyeless Dog getting into the ship. Was just me and one guy left, on the desert map. There was one item left outside of the facility- and we'd just brought back in 2 bottlecrates. Other guy walked out and I tried to warn him of dogs spawning, and one spawned JUST THEN and Iwa slike "Dog!!" kinda quiet-yelling to get him back into the ship, but he was already too far. And I was so worred he'd die, and it WALKED INTO THE SHIP. I was crouched, silent, in a corner and completely mortified, thinking I was dead, but it just sniffed the ground and walked out. I thought I was done for.

first time ive ever encountered an eyeless dog we landed in an eclipse and all of us were pressed against the door waiting for it to open. the moment it did, we all crowded the outside until we heard someone say "um guys theres something out here". i was the last one out through the door since i was coming from the terminal scanning when the dog jumped into our shop and started tearing one of us apart. everybody started screaming and scrambling back inside the ship and one dude managed to push the door close but the dog jumped through and killed him. i was off to the side still inside the ship and i crouched and hugged the wall as the other two get eaten in front of me. i just stare at three corpses as the dog turns around before screeching and mauling me even tho my mic had stopped working at the start of the round and im completely mute. shit was both fun and ass lmao

When me and my friends played our first eclipsed mission, I volunteered to be base baby. Usually a safe bet, but as you may know, eclipsed means that the night time monsters will appear at any time of day. I knew this going into the mission, but I felt that the mission would go way worse if we didn't have anyone on the outside, and we were playing with the bigger lobby mod so we had an extra person or two to spare. At what had to have been no later than 10 AM I hear a loud growl from outside the ship. I could've stayed quiet and just let it pass but since it was our first eclipsed mission I had to make sure everyone knew that there would be dogs outside already so I ran to the door and shut it and radioed in that the dogs were out. I sat in the corner of the ship next to the cams and waited out the door hydraulics so the dog would hopefully be less aggressive after enough time passed. When the door opened, the dog immediately walked into the ship, stopping right in the middle of it to sniff around as I cower in the corner essentially in fetal position, completely frozen in fear, my hands not even touching my obnoxious mechanical gaming keyboard as to not risk the slighted click or clack alerting the predator to my presence. Despite it being blind for I could feel the beast staring me down for the longest 15 seconds of my life, it knew I was there, it just couldn't act upon it. The only thing holding it back from its prey was its lack of scent detecting AI, because the smell of fear was truly potent in the ship at that moment and it was all being emanated from one meager minimum-wage worker confined to the corner of the safe haven that was inches away from becoming a coffin. As it left I couldn't even muster up a sight of relief both in fear of the dog returning and in pure shock from what had just happened. We ended up extracting with a somewhat decent haul afterwards and with only mild casualties, but the scar that moment left on my psyche was unlike anything any other game had inflicted upon me. This game has made me go into hysteric laughter, which is why it is always so shocking when it also can put me into truly hysterical fear

The little girl is a threat in the game. She works by choosing one player to haunt (it'll always be you in singleplayer) the other players besides the one chosen will be the only one to see them. She has two modes. Passive. And hunting. Passive is when you just see her. Standing there, only to disappear once you get close. In hunting mode you'll find her and she'll hum. You'll have to run. My first experience with eyeless dogs was the 4 of us landing on an eclipsed planet, one of my colleagues walking out onto the balcony of the ship as its landing and yelling "WTF IS THAT" at the top of his lungs as he sees one right on the landing zone. He comes inside and shuts the door. We chatter inside as the doors shut discussing what to do and see 3 of the things on radar right outside. ( we had no idea about not making noise ) Door opens, one comes charging in immediately and rips apart one of us brutally infront of us, another yells "RUN FOR IT BOYS" gets outside before getting grabbed by another and dragged off into the darkness, and i get slaughtered last making a break for it too. Leaving the last one of us who had huddled in the corner dead silent behind the terminal completely traumatised with the ship lights off, he goes and turns them on once things have gone deadly quiet and just sees the entire ship plastered with blood. I love this game.

ive got PTSD from a gracken encounter. me and a friend were walking through one of those big white areas that are just like grids of hallways. my friend was walking with me explaining his plan of action, he split off into the hallway next to me and was only out of my vision for half a second when he suddenly stopped talking. i stopped and walked a few steps backwards to look down the path he went and there was nothing but a flash light and a trail of blood leading towards the exit. i ran to the exit but had to stop while the bracken did that omminous thing where he stares at you and then slinks away into the darkness. i got to the exit and got out with my friends body that the bracken and luckily dropped just 1 room away from the exit. upon my friend coming back, he told me that while spectating me he saw the bracken running up behind me as i was interacting with the exit door.

First ever time I played this game with people We were getting the apparatus and when I turned around a Bracken killed the guy behind me so all I heard was him stop talking mid sentence, a crunch, then turned around only to see a radio and a blood trail while the guy at the ship was asking what happened.

I was also monitoring the radar but without walkie talkie and eventually some dog monster heard me and I heard it come around and entered the ship somehow, something kept opening the doors so I would often close it but this time I waited too long and turned around to see a big dog that heard me. I didn't realized how sensitive the game was to your mic and If I had stayed silent maybe it would have walked away but I reacted by saying "Oh Shoot." Then the Giant dog lunged and Mangled me to death.

Honestly scariest shi in the whole game for me is the ghost girl she is literal nightmare fuel I was on the desert map the last person after my friend got coiled and I was getting all the stuff back on the ship but before I leave I decided to check cams real quick to see where everybody died after I’m done I turn around to see her staring at me and I immediately alt+f4 I couldn’t that was my first encounter and I still piss myself every time

I was with my friend and we were goofing off and making noise like “wow we got so much stuff!” And I radio’d my friend on the ship “hey we’re heading back” while we honked a horn and laughed. There was no response. I went “Hey, ship man isn’t responding- which means his radio is off… or he’s dead.” Then, almost instantly, a hound came rushing at us and we stayed quiet. Bro was inches from me and my friend managed to sneak off. We all somehow made it on ship and left alive, ship man was alive just being silent because the dog was right outside

You know what makes this game more horrifying? The radio cut when your teammate dies, it goes on to show there's no one operating the radio and you hear static.

My best moment in lethal company cane from a friends recording and my experience combined. We were runing around a facility early on in our runs, not knowing much. We had one flashlight because the others died, and I had an air horn, all inventorys were full. We got seperated after a spider started attacking and it cornered me, i was spamming the air horn the whole time until i died. I started spectating to hear one friend calling out for the other, only to switch cameras and see the other friend spamming a remote (mic was dead at the time). They both exit the facility seperately and meet up, only to seconds later get murdered while the mute friend throws my body to the floor and runs back to the ship. Only later with video did i see that the friend with the flashlight was close enough when i died to hear the horn stop and not hear our other friend. Not a super big thing, but just a hilarious watch as a spectator.

The most terrifying moment I have ever had in LC was when I was holding fort in ship, guiding everyone on a forest moon (not sure which). And while I was trying to lead them away from danger, I began hearing loud, thundering footsteps. But not just one, pair of foot steps TWO Two pairs of footsteps, possibly three And I turned off the lights and hid in the corner, as multiple times a forest guardian fucking stomped onto the ship and just STARED into the cockpit while I hid in the corner, just WATCHING At the time I didn't know if I was safe inside the ship, so I shut off my radio and just waited. Eventually, once the giant had left I sprinted for the door, slammed it shut, and teleported my friends into the ship. At this point it was like 8 pm, and there was no way in hell they were getting back to the ship. It was a sacrifice of like ~2-400 dollars, but it was a necessary choice. I have never been so shit your pants scared in any game like it sense My god It was horrifying

This reminds me of when i heard a teammate of mine freaking out saying he's going to die. Me being new to the game thought he was joking around because there was nobody around but us. His head then explodes and rolls to my feet, and silence followed by the ghost girl breathing behind me is one of the most harrowing moments I've ever had in gaming.

So let’s find out what the killer is, options are baboon hawk, dog, ghost girl, or masked, the player likely got an instant death due to the cut off scream it had to have been a fast kill too, this cuts off baboon hawk and masked, also some more info that it was not a masked was that masked players only leave the facility if no players are left in, next is that the player was likely on the terminal and ghost girl can’t be seen on there, and a dog is much more common to encounter too, this also makes sense as the player was talking which would attract the dog as well. So with all this the killer was likely an eyeless dog.

I was at the ship and a new player who was a kid like 11 had a walkie talkie and he faced a flowerman and I heard him say "why is there a weird guy with arms out his back" I responded, "Go in the back hallway and hide inside that room" because I was going to send my friend Kaleb There, He He went in the room and Bracken was just outside the corner of the entrance to his room I heard him legit scream and say "IT PEEKED AND LOOKED AT ME!" And he was crying and I was trying to get him to stay calm, eventually the Bracken went away for my friend Kaleb and then I tried guiding him out, he went into a room, and then I saw 2 heat signatures around him, It was bracken and what the kid called "A spring neck thing" And I told him to establish eye contact, eventually the Bracken went away He went into a hallway another hallway to try to escape, but I saw 2 Hoarding Bugs, one Snare Flea, and Bracken and coilhead around him, I heard him screaming watching the hoarding bug and I legit heard the hoarding bug I don't know if it was his mic.. But I heard it off the Walkie Talkie, and then I heard Muffled Screams, and cries, The Snare Flea got on him, before radio cut off to silence. Horrifying Lethal Company Experience

Worse run I’ve had: my friend pulled out the reactor as me and another friend were doing the jumps between walkways, we hit each other mid air and fell to our deaths. The friend who pulled the reactor out got killed by Bracken and our last friend got eaten by the sand worm 3 feet from the ship.
