Ok so 2 things: 1) This set is my winner for 4K OF THE YEAR! My childhood late nights on HBO memories recaptured in one of the best transfers I've ever seen! And that girthy box set was worth every penny! And 2) Subbed! Binged your last 6 vids and I like the thing you got going! Respect!

So glad I pulled the trigger on this! I’ve always loved the Hitcher & 2nd sight never disappoints. I was blown away at the picture & sound quality it was unbelievable 10/10! The features were great, the packaging beautiful, such a classic. I consider this a slasher but it does have action, thriller, & road movie elements so I can see the argument for any of those. Great cast, so glad we’re finally getting these great movies that have been lost on dvd & vhs finally!!!

I have the standard blu ray. It looks and sounds amazing. It also has so many extras. It was well worth the wait!

Grew up in NC live in Spartanburg SC about an hour away. Found out about Orbit DVD because of you and looked up there store online, learned they are out of Asheville. Checked to make sure they were good and luckily they are given all the damage up that way. Went up there Saturday to spend some money and support the store and picked up this absolutely amazing release. A very early horror thriller my mom showed me and holds up unbelievably well. To me this is a perfect release and movie.

I just got second sights the hitcher box. Its one of my fave films i got lucky to see it in theaters. I got to say i love this set and ive never seen this movie look so good. Two thumbs up to second sight

What's your opinion/guess as to who the hitcher was? A man just wanting to die? A ghost? Maybe he saw the lead as a son or maybe he was attracted to him and admired him? Was he trying to make the lead become like him? So much mystery.

It's a great release, I got mine a few days ago from Atomic. My only complaint is I can't stand digipaks and SS uses them for all their limited edition 4K's. I'm probably going to grab the Warner 4K as well just to have a copy with the original art.

I just received the movie and watched it, and it is as good as I remember . The movie does look good in 4k. Second, Sight out did themselves .

I got my Hell House set in, if you ordered the standard edition then ufortunately the box is kind of flimsy. As for the Hitcher, i can't decide whether to go with the Umbrella version or Second Sights. I haven't upgraded to 4k so its between how the blu rays compare Edit: i finished the video and Second Sight it is!

Yes. All 4K is region free. Region Coding only applies to Blu Ray

Kino, Arrow and Criterion are top of the pile. Scream Factory just has horrible prices, gimmicks and customer service but their og artwork slips and their movies in general are usually really good but Second Sight is not on the level of those companies. Nor is Umbrella especially since their whole selling point is their packaging not their restorations.
