So worried about what happened at the end of this episode, hope everyone is o.k. Looks like that horse went thru the fence? Interesting about the horse with 7 molars. Dr. Kristen is great with all of them, always gentle and kind. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh how I wish I were younger, I would snatch up both of those Saddlebred horses. Saddlebreds are just the best horses. Once they trust you, there is nothing they won't do for you. They are very people-oriented horses.

The passionate way you respond to trauma brought upon this child is what everyone should feel. I keep praying that the laws will be changed for all the victims of abuse. Why can't child protection services be held responsible as well. JUSTICE for the babies.

Thanx for all your work, Dr Kristen! 💗🏆 Those dental xrays remind me of the ones of the horse that had 288 teeth - it was SO gross, freaky! Anyway, whatever happened at the end, hope it wasnt too bad. 🙏 To all your volunteers: you are God's gift to the rescue world! 💗🏆 Blessed week, ladies & Nate! 💐

Poor fella at the end, he panicked when he got stuck on the fence, tried to get to the other horses in his panic and went down with the second fence. Hope he is alright and didn't get hurt. But that can always happen with flight animals. Especially when they are still relatively feral or traumatized. You bear a lot on your shoulders working with these abused horses, all the more respect from me and hopefully everything ends well. I hope the horse with the extra teeth can eat again without too much pain

I love Dr Kristen, always so happy when she gives the older horses a happy life as a pasture pet instead of saying the last act of kindness would be better. I have two 27 year old Irish Cobs, one has bone cysts and arthritis but with pain meds and supplements he is still very happy, he's not lame, just a bit slower and not as wild as he used to be. I watch too many other channels that decide against older horses without trying. Of course it's more expensive with an oldie but I adore older horses and with the right vet a lot can be done to make an older horse's life comfortable ❤ thank you for helping these beautiful animals ❤❤❤

An Irish Cob that’s a new one on me and I’m from Ireland, I love the older Horses too, they’re more vulnerable and somebody dumped them leaving them in poor health, it makes me sick but reading others input helps me a great deal because I cannot stand any cruelty to Animals!

Be nice to hubby, building from scratch is always way easier than remodeling something like he is doing. Be glad , so GLAD, that he knows how to do so many things and is invaluable to the running of the rescue. I think your vet is really good and she has a way with the horses, you can tell she cares a lot. I bet Tawney is a bit jealous right now, I don't think they have found a full time vet to be on staff yet. They have been trailering them into to vet here lately. Kirsten is determined to try and help this big horse with the weird mouth. She wants to help her get out of pain and what not. I wonder if big equine practices have those xrays things like people dentists have where its a tube that bends all kinds of ways and can be brought right up to the cheek next to the teeth they want to target. Maybe that would help determine whats up in there!

Second comment, but remember people goe to school for two years to learn how to shoot xray, and you youys jumped straight into the fire and ate getting images that your vet can use! You rock! You can bend one paper clip into an L and the other one into sort of an R and use painter tape to always stick it on the part of the cartridge that is closest to the outside of the body (lateral) painter tape is nice because the roll fits around your wrist like a bracelet, easy to carry.

Merrimak got a home, yay for the adorable little demon! Love that sometimes even a trained Vet can be confused as hell about something that's just not normal but there's no clear signs about why the heck the thing is doing what its doing! Also holy crap that cliffhanger! I am ready to know just what ended up going down at the end of the episode! Looks like one of the newer owner surrenders decided to charge through several of the fences for some reason, could have been anything to set him off, hope he's alright after that fall.

With regard to the head shaking mare. I’ve had 2. One had an itchy nasal discharge from the sinuses. It was cured by an Indian herbs mixture in her feed. Took about 6 weeks to work. The other had her top vertebrae displaced and was cured by the equine osteopath [3 sessions] Hope that helps.xx

I love this channel and content the only thing that bothers me is how Rae is with the horses. They way she kept pulling on the horse that wouldn't get outta the trailer. They way he jumped outta there was very dangerous for both if them. Some things need a little patients.. its almost like she ripped him outta that trailer. Ive seen her whipping not hard to get into a trailer on other horses as well. I thinks she needs a little more training herself on how to work with horses. No hate i love this channel just kinda got to me when she done that...
