@@OnceinaSixSide I have a question, two of the models you shown had Volkite Weapons, more specifically one had a Volkite Charger (the one with the nameplate that says "Bokko") and another had a Combi-Volkite (the one with the nameplate that says "Frazzleddad"), so did those two sprues came with the Terminator box? or did you get them from somewhere else? because last i heard the cataphracti box didn't come with any Volkite weapons and i'm not sure whether that's still the case or not.

Yeah the video You're referencing is the one that brought me to his channel as well and this project is something I'm doing with my grey knights because I found free files for everything I need for an entire grey knights army regular Marines terminators dreadnoughts dreadknights rhinos and the only thing I had to do with scaling about any of the prints or files was the space wolves mechanical wolf helmet to make my guys look like their own legion was scale up the head 7% when making the ones for the terminators and on colts all I did was just look up grey knights and space wolves respectively and then pay for resin and then print them on my brother's printer I just haven't printed the rhino or the dreadnought for the dreadknight yet I even found all the files for free that I need to build my sisters of battle army including Celestine I just need to find Paragon warsuits and I also found everything I need to make my loyalist iron warrior army cuz I looked up the price on all the models I need for my army 818 usd I'm not trying to pay that much for 70 miniatures

Neat! I did something similar to get hold of my own semi-firstborn Sternguard Squad recently. I took the combi weapons from the old Marine Commander box, a bunch of assorted intercessor and tactical bolter arms and weapons + printed MK 6 heads, torsos and legs = a nice set of veterans!

I know you could just print everything, but this is the best way to use the 3d printer to me. I like to buy the GW kits and then print the extra stuff to use up every bit I can. I just feel like I am both supporting the hobby, and getting my monies worth out of GW. I got 29 guys out of one set of Afaptus Arbites that way.

Cataphractii are my favoruite units, Maybe the centurions pass them, i can't make up my mind. I have 30 cataphractii, Imperial fists; 10 man chainfists, stormbolter; 10man Black templar stormshields and thunder hammer, and 10 man chainfist and imperial fist stormshields. They are my favoruite to build, favourite to paint and favourite to play, even though they can be crippling point heavy.

I have, it used to be my go to. It didn't take details to well and the fumes were really bad. Back when it was in the metal bottles it worked great. Printed a titan with it till it changed.

tip for removing supports: after removing from the bed, cleaned in IPA and dried off, you can dunk them in some hot water for a few seconds, and the supports should come off easily. note to be a bit more cautious smaller bits like those loincloths as they will warp

Amazing content as usual. I totally support squeezing the most plastic bits from a sprue with help of 3d printing. Last time I've done 21 tempestus Scion from the OG GW one with Solutionless files. I just recasted one half arm ( grenade launcher upper right) with help of blue stuff, then milipilut to use both options attached to it. I'm now on the quest to made at least 5 immortal AND 5 deathmarks out of one box. Don't need too much, only backspin and legs, but sadly the only files I found until now are always full upper bodies. So I'm still lurking and looking for a solution. Maybe our lovely community have some clues where too look ;) Could be a next challenge for you btw 😜😜 In all cases cheers mate and have a nice day

I print them with filament, lately on the Neptune 3 Pro which has been an absolute champion of a FDM printer. Quality isn't as nice as resin obviously, but it's so quick and effortless to print big batches of these and they're nice and durable too. I have a whole pack of bases in just about every size available on the stl tier over on buymeacoffee.com/onceinasixside if you want to pick them up :)

I love the Phobos combi-bolters and while Cataphractii is cool it looks just to much like Horus sometimes it’s to much. Tartaros terminators are so cool because they look like Contemptor dreadnoughts. Which are my favorite things in warhammer ever and they are the just really sleek. So I kitbashed my models with those Phobos combi-bolters is truly amazing.

I had the opposite quality with customer service. I ordered and paid for a replacement screen, the screen they sent didn't turn on, they sent a new motherboard, that didn't fix the issue, they sent another screen that didn't turn on. When I put my original screen back in it turns on, but it was cracked... hence the buying a replacement. I provided video proof to them of the issue. All over a 6 month period of constant emails and waiting for deliveries. They finally told me that my purchase was out of the 6 month warranty and would no longer assist me and refused to give a refund for the screen that I purchased but didn't turn on. Never again with Anycubic.

It has always annoyed me at the amount of wasted parts and materials in GW models. Having started a Tyranid Hive Tyrant and finding out that the only part in the set that is used between the different versions is the body. Gw only gives you one body so two thirds of the box is going in the bin, bits box or maybe on eBay. I would rather they just sold two versions and stopped the waste. Luckily there are 3d printed and recast versions of the part available so now I have two Hive Tyrants for the cost of the part and a base.

If you kitbash then it's very useful, don't encourage GW to cheapen their kits even more man. Monopose is horrible and having that extra leeway for changing helped me so much. Having zero bits left over from my Soul Forge csm half hurts my soul.

if you're printing torsos and legs I'd suggest upping the scale by 5-7% the basic guys are a bit shrimpy and need a bit of up-scaling themselves.
