I love all the vintage pieces and papers. The silk embroidered ornaments, I’ve seen them go for more that you can get at a Fleamarket or auction, on eBay. I’m sure there’s more value in some of these vintage items, it’s according to where you sell them.

The little figures from the paper wrap the crocodile 🐊 looks like the old Tetley Tea figure I have some including the crocodile that my late grandmother collected from the early 70s. I was still a young child when she passed away and my parents were still together so that is how I know they are from the early 70s

We used to use those noisemakers at Halloween when I was a kid. That’s been many years ago since I probably haven’t been trick or treating in probably 70 years. Ours usually had Halloween designs on them. Not sure when they used the others. Maybe New Years Eve.

It makes me sad to see what someone has paid hundreds of dollars to store. Some of it has value because the original owner liked it, but it is not really valuable. Then there is junk mail and lots of books you could not give away. The sad part is that mixed in with all that there is stuff that could be great to have for the family. Of course I do not know the circumstances, but I am thinking of telling my nieces that if they decide to put any of my stuff in a storage after I am gone, I will come back to haunt them. Also, I am starting to clear out a lot of junk.

I know you don’t like to sell books, but so many do sell on eBay, In addition to all the crafting supplies. With needing to make up for the expensive buy price I’m surprised you are not trying to get as much profit out of it as possible. I know first hand how hard it is to sell stuff that is not exciting to you, but man it feels like you are giving away some serious profit. Or at least go thru those boxes to see what’s in them rather than just say books yuck! Crafts Yuck!
