The way Imogen has come around to being one of the most loved characters in the series is so great to me. In the first and second episodes she was in, (I think it was the second and fourth episodes of the first season), we weren't 100% sure about her, but wanted to see how she would work out. In the fifth episode and the season finale of season 1, we were like, "Okay, I like her. I very much want to see more of her in the future." And now, in this episode, everyone is like "IF ANYONE DARES TOUCH OUR SWEET IMOGEN, WE WILL END THEM!!!"

I gotta say Imogen said all of the stuff I WANTED TO SAY TO BEN at that moment and how she didn't need Nick to tell her about Ben & Charlie since she figured it out by herself,what a smart girl. When Ben started to talk to Charlie I was like "Ohh,SO NOW you want to be friendly with Charlie & ACKNOWLEGING his existence in public just to talk to him after everything that has happened with you two?". The reason the show is making Elle be that way really is because of the whole teenage girl thing. This show is a coming of age about teenagers figuring out themselves and learning to communicate and be good people and find love. Honestly the whole point is that they're learning and growing. Thats why they have to add stuff like that into the show because its supposed to be a realistic portrayal of teenagers. They're figuring out their problems.

My only problem with most Asexual representations is they’re mostly the “Robot Stereotype”. Emotionless, uncaring, “Don’t touch me. I don’t want a relationship” Kinda vibes. And it’s like… that’s AroAce. Some people are like that but Ace people can want relationships too. They can want the companionship and love without sex. They can be outgoing and happy and love with everything they have. But you don’t really get that often in shows or movies. If someone is Ace they’re quiet, reserved, maybe emotionally stunted. As an Ace person I never see myself In Ace representation and that’s a little sad.

I know other people are probably gonna comment this, but just a friendly reminder that there is a difference between asexual and aromantic, while isaac may be both they are still two different orientations. For example, when isaac being uncomfortable with the idea of kissing or being in a relationship is linked to him being aromantic, not asexual. Most people lump them in together and it can lead to false perceptions about aro and ace people, like asexual people dont want relationships, or that aromantic people are averse to sexual intimacy. Otherwise i love your reactions and im so excited for you to watch the rest of this season, hopefully you love it as much as i did💜

When I first watched this scene before Imogen spoke up for herself to Ben’s behaviour,I thought Nick was either going to step in to save Charlie so Charlie didn’t have to talk or sit next to Ben by telling Charlie to swap seats or Nick telling Ben off when Ben started talking to Charlie. Other than that when I watched when Imogen started to stand up for herself to Ben and spoke out his behaviour,I was just going to think she was just going to break up with him in front of everyone but having her also CALLING HIM OUT ON HIS CREEPY OBSESSION WITH CHARLIE was a DOUBLE WIN. Because Ben always wanted to pretend not to know Charlie in S1 but now Ben can’t do that anymore since now everyone knows he is obsessed with Charlie (Who is taken since Charlie is dating Nick). We all know Ben still is in love with Charlie & is obsessed with him despite him denying it in S1 but his creepy & desperate actions to Charlie during S1 said otherwise. But Ben can’t go after someone who is now taken,I get that Ben had Charlie first but treated Charlie as nothing while also Ben had a girlfriend at the side where Nick treats Charlie so much better. Ben already had his chance with Charlie but blew it. Now Ben gotta live with regret for not realizing he like Charlie sooner because Ben obviously was jealous when Nick & Charlie started dating and Ben clearly didn’t realize how much he like Charlie until he saw Charlie going out with someone else (Nick) who wasn’t him

Hey, love these Videos! ^^ Also as a person who is both aromantic and asexual, i feel like I should say something about you grouping them in together by just refering to the ace part of Isaacs Identity. Don't worry, most people have done that. In this case I feel like I can say something. So aromantism is feeling little to no romantic attraction which is what includes kissing. So Isaac agreeing with Charlie's description of a crush until he mentioned kissing is hinting towards that. Asexuality is feeling little to no sexual attraction which is not really discussed this season (just mentioned once and on a book once). Asexuality and aromantism can also be completly seperate, so it is important to nlt mix them up, even if the character is both aro and ace. All I'm asking you is to use aro when the scene revolves around romance not sex (:

Hi! Aromantic person here who does enjoy kissing! Just remember when giving someone else critism for grouping Aro/Ace together not to do it yourself LOL. It's always best to use language that isn't definitive. Most Aro people I know enjoy kissing because it's a physical act and doesn't always tie into romance, that might actually tie more into asexuality than aromantic, depending on the person. Just wanted to clarify that for anyone who might read this and be confused, aromantic people can, and often times do, kiss and enjoy kissing.

17:46 Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think anyone knows about Ben being queer and him assaulting Charlie except Nick. Charlie has a tendancy to keep things to himself and knowing Tao, if he knew he would have probably crushed Ben (verbally). Also I think that Charlie is taking the coming out thing way too seriously and he's way more anxious about it then Nick. Don't get me wrong, coming out can be extremely hard but I'm just comparing his behaviour to Nick's in the Paris trip situation. Nick is also stressed out about it otherwise he wouldn't have a panic attack in the last episode but I feel like on the Paris trip Charlie is way too much analysing everything like "but if do this little thing, people might notice and they might know" while Nick is posting photos of them on Instagram. At the end of last season and even in the beginning of this one they were holding hands and kissing in public and now Charlie doesn't even want to sit next to Nick on the bus even though everyone already knows they're at least very good friends and he doesn't want to hold Nick's hand even though there is nobody from school around them except Tara and Darcy. I think Nick's panic attack really put Charlie back in a place were he thinks he has to completely refrain himself in order to protect Nick.

If you look closely & carefully during when Ben sat next to Charlie during dinner before Imogen called Ben out on his obsession with Charlie & broke up with him. You could see how much it parallels & identifies with the scene of a flashback back in S1 when Ben first met Charlie in the music room. Ben sitting next to Charlie,Ben looking at Charlie very smitten,Ben putting on his charm to be nice when he tried talking to Charlie. It’s obvious that Ben is trying to do either the same thing he did when they first met or that Ben is desperately trying to get Charlie back that he STOPS PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW CHARLIE in PUBLIC & in front of people. And if Ben wants Charlie back,he needs to get through his current boyfriend (Nick),Charlie’s friends,Charlie’s parents but MOST IMPORTANTLY Charlie’s PROTECTIVE SISTER TORI. Since Tori can be quite intimidating when it comes to defending her brother (Like make fun of her brother & bully him,Tori is gonna threaten the bullies with their life. It’s either you leave Charlie (Her brother) alone or she’s putting you in a casket,digging your grave & making your funeral arrangements and I bet the cops would never find the bodies which could tell you that Tori can never get caught),Tori is literally the Wednesday Addams of Heartstopper (But without braids it’s her diet lemonade that is her signature look). And if Tori would know what Ben did to her brother,he’s a goner once Tori is done with him. Ben kinda deserves that Imogen called him out on his creepy obsession over Charlie because people needed to hear it since Ben DID PRETEND not to know Charlie in S1,about time someone called him out and got the rest of the students to KNOW that Ben DOES KNOW Charlie. And now since people now knows that Ben has a creepy obsession with Charlie that he acts like a creep which got Ben so embarrassed that he called Imogen a bitch to try to embarrass her instead but it made himself look more of a bastard when students started to get mad at him for calling her that and I’m pretty sure Ben called Imogen that because he was mad at her since Imogen called him out in front of everyone he now probably can’t get another lover since no one would want to go out with Ben now that they know he has a creepy obsession & stalker phase over someone that’s already taken (Charlie). Ben HAD HIS CHANCE with Charlie but blew it when he started to mistreat him and now Charlie gets to be with someone (Nick) who treats him so much better. If Ben wants to pretend he does not know Charlie in S1,you can tell how desperate he is now in order to get Charlie to get back together with him now that Ben IS NOT PRETENDING ANYMORE and tried to talk to him & sat next to him on purpose. Ben is lucky he had to deal with Imogen in this situation and not Tori because if Tori was in this scene right now let’s just say Tori WOULD MAKE SURE BEN STAYS AWAY FROM HER BROTHER since SHE’S NOT AFRAID and if Tori knew what Ben did to her brother,Ben’s NEEDS TO SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN.
