A 2 hour documentary about Kyle Busch's rise to fame, crazy antics and highly questionable decisions.
Busch was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. His first driving lessons came at the age of six when he drove around the cul-de-sac of his family's Las Vegas neighborhood in a makeshift go-kart. Although he could not reach the throttle, Busch still was able to pick up the basics from his father Tom, who controlled the gas pedal as Busch drove the vehicle. Busch worked in the family garage with his father and older brother Kurt as he grew, becoming crew chief for his brother's dwarf car team at age ten.
Busch began his driving career in 1998, shortly after his 13th birthday; from 1999 through 2001, Busch won over 65 races in legends car racing, winning two track championships at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring short-track, before moving to late models; Busch scored ten victories in late model competition at the Bullring during the 2001 season.
At the age of 16, Busch began competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 99 Ford for Roush Racing as a replacement for Nathan Haseleu, who was released midway in the 2001 season. He made his debut at Indianapolis Raceway Park, posting a 9th-place finish in his first race in the series. In his second race at Chicago Motor Speedway, he was leading until his truck ran out of fuel with 12 laps to go.
Busch was the fastest in practice for the 2001 Auto Club 200 at California Speedway in Fontana, CA, when he was informed he was not allowed to participate in events at the track, due to the fact that the CART FedEx Championship Series, running at the track the same weekend had its race sponsored by Marlboro cigarettes. Busch was decreed ineligible to compete due an interpretation of the Master Settlement Agreement of 1998, prohibiting people under 18 years of age in participating in events sponsored by tobacco companies; Tim Woods III replaced Busch in the No. 99 Ford for the event and finished 25th. Busch competed in a total of six races in the Truck Series in 2001, finishing ninth twice, at IRP and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Six weeks after the Fontana incident, NASCAR imposed a minimum age of 18 years starting in 2002 to prevent incidents of the sort from happening again; this was partially because Winston was the series sponsor of its premier Winston Cup Series at the time. When the age requirements were put in place, Busch switched from NASCAR to the American Speed Association (ASA) National Tour, finishing 8th in points.
In 2002, Busch graduated a year early with honors from Durango High School in Las Vegas, Nevada to focus on his driving career. That same year, he made his debut in the ARCA RE/MAX Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway, finishing twelfth in the No. 22 Chevrolet for WP Motorsports.

Man I never ever watch 10 min KZbin videos, but watched this full 1hr52min masterpiece of a video ever on KZbin. I literally sat here and watched my fan favorite childhood driver. Been a fan of Busch since 2008 when I was a kid maybe 10 or 11 years old I was, and sitting here at 24 years old and barely watching Nascar now because I have college, work and responsibilities to do and Kyle is not winning as much, I mean it really breaks my heart. Whatever happens in 2023, I just hope he wins a race in 2023. He has 1 record still alive. That is that "1 win per season stat". I think he'll tie Dale Sr or pass him if he get's 1 win in 2023. Bascially since 2005 to now 2022 he has never went winless. Hoping for a win in 2023 at least and I'll be happy with that no matter what team he drives for.

Thank you 5 Wide for everything! This was truly needed for all of us Kyle Busch fans at this time. He was always one of my favorites. I got into NASCAR because of my childhood hero Tony Stewart. But after he retired, Kyle definitely took his spot for me. This might honestly be better than the Rowdy Movie that came out earlier this year. I haven't seen it yet. Regardless, this was top tier quality. You know for someone who has said in the past, Kyle Busch will never be his favorite driver, it kind of seems to me as if you might have developed a soft spot for him.

When Kurt & Kyle Busch came to Delaware Kyle drove #28 Steve Robblee’s pro late model & it’s a bottom feeder one groove track & not many drivers venture up top for short 35-40 lap feature races but Kyle had no choice really starting on the outside but made it work & showed why he’s one of the best & was working his way to the front but broke a shock mount unfortunately but he still put on quite the show but older brother Kurt struggled & ran at the back & got caught up in a few crashes.

Just FYI 1 of the Winningest ≠ 1 of the Greatest Dale is one of the greatest. Junior is one of the greatest. Kyle is one of the 8 most winningest NASCAR drivers of all time.

KFB indeed. It was a weird transition for me I was a diehard Mark Martin fan. The quintessential good guy then when he retires I become the wild child bad boy Kyle F-ing Busch fan.

Ron Hornaday has never been worth his weight, and look how well his comments aged KB has more wins, and Championships and counting. And after the time Nascar didn't park Hornaday when he took a championship away from Kyle and got himself in trucks for the remainder of his washed up career.

I would of loved to have heard the 1 on 1 between Kyle and Jeff. What reason did Kyle have to be unhappy at Hendrick ? Kyle took it personal when they hired Jr. though and he attacked him on and off the race track thanks to Jgr.

Kyle said that the relationship could have been fixed with Rick but Jeff relayed only the negative parts of their talk to Rick unfortunately.

@@fivewidesports seems like I remember hearing something like that. Still would have loved to been there though. lol. I can hear Rick now: Ok Jeff, you know how we operate around here. Go talk with him and find out if he "really" wants a future here.
