A Look at Tony Stewart's best wins, interviews and fights.
Anthony Wayne Stewart (born May 20, 1971), nicknamed Smoke, is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver and current NASCAR team owner. He is a three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion as a driver, winning titles in 2002, 2005 and 2011. As a team owner, he has won NASCAR Cup titles in 2011 with himself and in 2014 with Kevin Harvick as drivers. Throughout his racing career, Stewart has won racing titles in Indy, midget, sprint, and USAC Silver Crown cars. He is the only driver in history to win a championship in both IndyCar and NASCAR.
He last competed full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (now known as the NASCAR Cup Series) during the 2016 season, driving the No. 14 Chevrolet SS for his own team, Stewart-Haas Racing, under crew chief Mike Bugarewicz. From 1999 to 2008, he drove the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing car, under crew chief Greg Zipadelli with The Home Depot as the primary sponsor. While driving for car owner Joe Gibbs, Stewart won two Cup Series championships in 2002 and 2005. In 2011, Stewart became the first owner-driver since Alan Kulwicki to win the Cup Series championship, which ended Jimmie Johnson's streak of consecutive championships at five. Stewart is the only driver to win the Cup Series championship under the old points system and the chase playoff format, and is the only driver to win the title under three different sponsorships (Winston in 2002, Nextel in 2005, and Sprint in 2011). He is also the first driver in the Cup Series to win the championship by virtue of a tiebreaker. On May 22, 2019, Stewart was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

I knew he was kind of ignorant when he said the ceo of CART didn’t speak English, and the ceo was English. Say what you want about him, but he’s a hothead and has more guts than anyone else to say what he wants. He let his emotions get the best of him in the worst of times and yet, some people still like him despite his actions. Most people like him because, well, he’s human and reminds us of ourselves.

Greatest American driver to never win the Daytona 500 nor the Indy 500. He could still win in anything, whether it was sprint cars, Indycars, stock cars, or IROC. He won the Indy 500 pole as a rookie. He was the first driver to ever win USAC's Triple Crown. He *STILL* wins races in sprint cars. He won 3 NASCAR championships, with 62 wins across all three of NASCAR's top series. The man is a legend.

Similar? How? Tony never acted like a spoiled child. One example of many, when kyle destroyed Ron Hornaday's truck (and his championship run) during a caution, for basically no reason. Stupid, childish outbursts like that (and there are many to choose from) are the reason Kyle's video was different. Sure, Tony would act out, and get angry, but most of the time he would do so with a mostly calm and cool demeanor, and if he wasn't calm, cool, and collected, he usually had a damn good reason. I love Kyle Busch, but there's a VERY good reason why so many people hate him.

One of the best Tony statements I heard I was in the garage @ Daytona testing. Tony was like 6th or 8th on speed. Guy asks something about why Tony was slow or not up at top. Tony looks at scoring screen, looks back at guy and smiles. They guy asks a time or two more. Tony asks him. "Did I miss something?" Guy say what do you mean? Tony says what does it pay today?
