JK is bias… he is up there win my personal favorites list with Bon Jovi, Steve Tyler and a couple of others, so know that before you read the rest of my comment. PLEASE refrain from making such bold statements in the future. It isn’t helpful in getting JK new fans. It makes some people mad and defensive. He can be the King of Pop in your head, but MJ is the recognized King of Pop by the world. He will not be replaced. Just look at the first come to you. You made that person mad, and they will most likely take that out of JK in their heart. Praise JK as much as you want, but don’t go so far as to say he has replaced a legend that will never be replaced.

Maybe to many in the the west, but in the world of Kpop (which is global) I would say he is a legend and icon… and becoming even more of one daily. Many in the west think what we see in our little bubble is the way the whole world is, and it’s not true. He is an incredible artist and actually he will go down in history for many things. The west hasn’t caught on to him as much, but he is loved across the globe by millions. No one will ever replace MJ as the King of Pop but JK still deserves to be recognized for the talent his is and the over 10 year record breaking career he has had in entertainment. He has broken numerous records as a solo artist in just over 2 months. Anyway, my comment is Mariano’s to ask you to not let over zealous fans harden your heart towards accepting and appreciating JK.

So I'll continue to discover more his and his group's music. It's just weird to me when ppl get on here and say he's the blueprint when others have come before him. It's a turn off. James Brown came before Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson before Usher and Usher loved those 2 great legends and icons. To dismiss Usher like he's just some guy that has one song is ignorant and misleading.
