Yeah but I don't really understand how arcane can be canon to league as a prequel given the fact that they are adding Ambessa to league after what happened in the last episode? There might just be something I've missed, but the only thing that makes sense to me is that the universe arcane is set in is a parallel universe to what league is set in, similar to the universe Ekko went to in ep7 except like a much closer parallel if that makes sense? Caitlyn realizes what she was doing wrong was when they talk to Singed. Caitlyn hates Singed and calls him a "monster" because he created Shimmer and does inhuman experiments. When Singed tells her what he did was for the love of his daughter, Caitlyn realizes that because of her love for her mom, she might be doing something evil as well. That makes her understand that not everything can be justified for love but also that she would still be willing to help people that she loves (Vi) for good. This is exactly the message they were trying to convey through this episode, that there are 2 sides of a coin. Love makes us do both good and bad things. Caitlyn's love for her mother made her do bad things but her love for Vi makes her do good. That is exactly what they were trying to tell us.

I like how most people don't even notice at first the fact that Isha's Song is in Chinese. It's a testament to how strongly it fits into the scene that you understand it despite not understanding the words (unless you understand Chinese, of course). It's also a brilliant choice because Isha is non-verbal, so having her song be in a language that most people can't understand, yet somehow still manage to communicate the meaning of it, is entirely appropriate for her character. Because despite being non-verbal, Jinx understands Isha. And despite being in a language we can't understand, Isha's Song still speaks to us.

Isha's song, the last words the Chinese singer says translates to this: "I'm just fine this way" meaning that she didn't want to die but she accepts it has to be that way. Isha's name also multiple meanings, two of the most important are "Healer & The One Who Protects". That brush moments are intentional; we saw ourselves as a kid in brighter memories. Memories where all was bright, colorful, and joyful. We never wanted to change that, but we did. Also, two symbolism, Isha’s paint color is blue symbolism for Powder as she is catching up to Jinx purple to heal her soul. Also notice how Jinx’s eyes flutter blue at least twice as they are jumping. Now Isha's soul says those last words to Jinx, unheared by death, echoed on us. This show is the epitome of show, don’t tell. So many times, I wish more dialogue was written, or I wrote it my own. But they left it up to the audience to interpret the situation based on their own perceptions. And this truly epitomized by the character of Isha, a character that is mute, doesn’t say a single line of dialogue, which also represents the voices going away in Jinx’s head. People don't realize it yet, but the writers made their point of this act very clear from the beginning. The second we see Maddie with Caitlyn, we feel betrayed and hurt, some even hate Maddie herself. We feel bad for Vi and we feel cheated on as an audience, but time and people move forward, even if it's temporarily or attempt to "fill a hole,” but Maddie also played a secondary role; to help keep Cait's humanity. Warwick and Isha's roles were to heal Jinx, bring back her humanity, heal sisters and a family. And just like the intro of the act, it's the outro, we have it all torn away and are betrayed.

Some Act 2 Call Backs - Jayce, Ekko, and Heim definitely saw some evil twisted world. We are so sad and focused on the "Arcane" (getting vander back, all the happiness) that we didn’t focus on the little sinister details behind the scenes. One Salo isn’t breathing when they are in the hexgate mesh, they also did very quick camera flutter, but they show a very sinister image of non-human existing instead of salo as a human. Also, I don’t think a lot of people noticed, but Vander didn’t just disappear because of Viktor’s death, Singed most likely woke up and injected the Serum into Warwick after Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx walked out. And when Jinx is about to say the punchline., Vi is actually talking to her sister Jinx because she is saying "you're not going to like it because she is going to have to trust Caitlyn", ironically she didn't tell Cait that Jinx knew the plan. Also Season 1 Vi - “Oil and Water” / Season 2 - Caitlyn - “You look like an angry oil slick.”

I suppose that's the reason for the continues flipping between team and characters on the animated show. So it does imply that he managed to administer the serum, likely during the period when Vander was unwatched after everyone else ran outside to see what happened after Jayce shot Viktor.

I think one of the genius thing about Isha's sacrifice is that she fully grasped the situation that they are in, we have these stereotypes about deaf people that they can't comprehend what is happening since they can't hear them not knowing that the absence of one sense greatly increases the others. In that moment, they are pincered by Ambessa's soldier and Vander's Wrath, Vi is hurt and Jinx is emotionally unavailable. Isha already know that Jinx won't leave Vander and would stay at the bitter end, in that instance she knew that her having all that hex core in her pocket that she is the key for them to escape and with that explosion, it gives the team the leeway to getaway and also stop Vander and his rampages. Because if she didn't do anything, there are only two outcome; either all the soldiers including Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Isha and Ambessa got decimated by Vander or, Vander got overwhelm and got caught along with his family. Isha has to be the sacrifice, I was thinking why not Jinx since she is so suicidal this season and I just realized that Isha thinks of Jinx as an Icon for the revolution, she can't die (yet).

The term "mute" is technically inaccurate for deaf people, who generally have functioning vocal chords. It doesn't matter whether she was deaf, mute or both. The reason I didn't say mute is because people can find that offensive for some reason. Just to add and maybe irrelevant, remember she say "Pew", that means she have a functioning vocal chords, so she must be deaf.

I think he could have handled it better, the immediate enemy was Ambessa, not Victor, if they teamed up to defend the vilage and Then seek a solution to the Hexcore people would have survived and the final act could even be skipped, my man was rushing to destroy it when there was plenty of time.

@@TectonicTechnomancerthe thing with that is that jayce has been gone since episode 3. he doesnt get to see all the schemes that we see during his absence. he simply returns with a mission to *SPOILERS* save the world from the apocalypse hextech creates, which at its core, comes from hextech/viktor, not ambessa. even if jayce knew about the threat ambessa posed, i dont see why jayce would go “oh let me delay my mission to deal with ambessa instead of the hexcore”

If you remember the last episode things were all playing out the exact same as the dystopian future the only difference was Ekko was there to save the day. So no Jayce did not save the future but he could have if he just let Victor see into his memories and passed down his future selfs message.

Jayce was not the cause of Vander going berserk. Victor hadn't fully healed Vander hence they weren't "connected". It was Singed who injected the orange stuff on Vander that made him go berserk. Early with Ambessa he did say that he will be able to make something that could hinder Victor's progress of healing Vander. which was the orange stuff he had injected.

Is it crazy that i feel nothing for isha? I knew she's going to die when she appeared on another episode. I felt more sadness when one of the jinxers died protecting the piltover wearing the cop gears.

I think the sadness comes not from how you feel for Aisha. She's only been in the show for a little while. But for how it will affect Jinx. She finally had hope and then lost everything again.

She's barely a character. She's purpose built to be "cute kid that loves Jinx" and nothing else. I kinda hate the fact that they made her mute because it just adds to the "please feel bad for this cute child" vibe and takes away from her ability to express anything at all beyond her like of Jinx. The fact that she literally falls out of the sky on to Jinx's head is especially telling.

This is not a unique thing to you guys, so don't take it personally, but I have to say it because this bugs the ever loving hell out of me. His name is Warwick. War. Wick. Not "warrick". There are two Ws, and both are prominently pronounced. And yes, that is a champion in League. Those of us familiar with league lore already knew before Season 2 ever released that Vander was being turned into warwick by singed because you can see him hanging from the ceiling in singed's workshop in season 1.

No it's cause unlike you fucking Jayce stans who don't actually watch the show the last episode makes it pretty fucking definitive that all Jayce has to do was not act like a psycho and actually talk to Victor. Or y'know the fact that Victor only starts to really become the bad guy after jayce tries to kill him. If full blown big bad machine herald Victor needed a single hug and some of Jayce's memories what do you think THIS Viktor would have done? How many people are dead because of Jayce's instability?😒
