But now, after he’s regained his memories and expressing more emotions, when he saw the hilt he remembered and started crying. People try to talk down Muichiro because the battle ended quickly and it almost seemed like he was playing with Gyokko which leads people to believe that Gyokko is trash. But in reality, it's just that Muichiro is insanely strong. Also, fun fact: Muichiro reached the rank of Hashira only two months after joining the Demon Slayer corps. He's also the same age as Nezuko, 14, at this point I believe. Also love the music when Mitsuri go going. You can see they put most of their efforts regarding animation into her (which is a bit unfortunate, because Muichiro honestly deserved better. Imagine if we got quality matching that of Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance)

Fun fact rengoku always brought muichro food at the demon slayer meetings and after his death sanemei started doing it for him but up until this fight his mind was in the mist and never truly remembered much even who rengoku was when the crow announced his death that’s why he kept walking as if it was a nobody who died

So many people were underwhelmed with Gyokko. Muichiro is a freak. It took Tanjiro TWO YEARS to get to and pass final selection. Muichiro made Hashira in two months. Of course he’d be a monster with a slayer mark. Greatest thing about it is he’s not even the “strongest” among the group and he folded Five with tremendous ease once Kotetsu bailed him out of the water pot. Love that the Flame Pillar’s influence is still so strong. His guard saved Kotetsu. His Tsuguko turned Hashira saved Tanjiro. Man putting in work from the grave.

Well he passed final selection on his first try. It took two years for him to train and learn breathing techniques which I think is fair for a guy who used to only know how to sell charcoal.

A great attention to details is that Tanjiro, Muichiro, and Nezuko have been shoeless since the Upper 4 entered Tanjiro’s room. Muichiro wasted no time once he saw the demon, and Tanjiro and Nezuko followed up on his attack, only the place to get blown apart after Muichiro got sent flying. So, who knows where their shoes are right now.

Yeah, The mark is a pretty big power up. Muichiro was legit paralyzed and unable to move before the mark appeared which caused him to be able to fight off the poison and seemingly gave all his abilities a massive boost. This is also shown when the mark disappears and the poison immediately paralyzes him again lol

Tokito awakening his mark againts upperM 5 enhanced his overall skill by alot which is why he killed him easily. Uzui battle againts Upper 6 was only on his base stats no enhancement which is why he had a hard time againts him. Also from akaza and above power levels between upper moons really are way more higher.

Lol Gyokko was trying but wasn't going to regenerate. Once his head was cut it was a wrap for him. He's not like Upper 4 or 6 Even if Tokito didn't chop his head into pieces he still would've died. Although he probably would have kept talking for another 30 minutes 😅

gyokkos final move in the anime feels much weaker than manga because in the manga the ultimate move is him just jumping around at extreme speeds and punching everything but anime makes it so his movement becomes irregular and illogical making him impossible to predict and basically immortal if he kept doing it. but ofc gyokko wasnt serious at all during the fight but i still love him R.I.P. gyokko u will be missed

A lot of people don’t like or are confused with Mu defeating Gyokko so easily. People the point was to highlight Mu’s broken attributes, he’s a descendant of the Sun breathers and has the mark which gives an insane power boost as we seen with Tanjiro as well.
