There's a lot of moments on rewatch that make you realise what led Eren to the place he's at now, even the arc where Levi squad dies he says "I made the wrong decision," he thinks that if he just acted as the Attack Titan and fought Annie on his own he could've prevented their deaths. I feel like that moment was definitive in shaping his mindset, he realised that he had to shoulder the burden on his own, the burden happens to be carrying out global genocide 😬

Also when Armin said to rise above monsters you have to abandon your humanity everybody kept telling him these things and he took that with him and are surprised when he does exactly what was expected of him. And the funniest part is he was told these things because he had that humanity to not want to fight or kill and he needed motivation

Apparently it's just 2 long episodes that they intended to release together but they had to delay the second part due to production issues. Articles keep calling em "2 cours" but there's only like 9 chapters left, definitely not much content for 12 or more episodes.

Cours in Anime are the seasons. So 4 cours/seasons a year in the anime industry. 1 cour is typically 12-13 episodes.

@@AugustusAnderssen3 Actually, according to some Japanese fans, it may in fact be two seperate longer movie-like episodes ("special broadcasts") than two actual cours, especially considering there's only enough source material left for about 6 episodes, maybe 8 if it's drawn out. I would prefer an actual cour, but it's still a bit unclear so far. Dani's not just making stuff up though.
