Story 1, to be honest I would go for option 2, mainly because it not just me getting justice, at that point the company would be paying many people I would of worked with for the harassment and labour violations against them as well as get a small payout, it’s also a lesson to others to not try the same tricks and better the industry. Also backs up people who don’t believe me when I can point to the public info and news stories related to it.

Friend of mine had an experience with an "undercover boss" while it wasn't the boss himself, it was a young family member (nephew I belive) who had been "hired as an intern", nobody knew anything at the time of course, but later found out that he had cameras and microphones in some of his things to "gather evidence", they also found out he was mostly there to keep an eye on management, not the ground floor employees, not long after "the intern" left 2 managers were fired, with no severence, everyone in their departments were celebrating it. "Higher" management needs to learn that they should look more at how "lower" management acts, than the ones at the bottom.
