I’m glad Loni brought up Dani’s song yellowbone! But because she didn’t know the exact lyrics to quote, Adrienne and garcelle were left without context. Adrienne, Beyoncé song “brown skin girl” was meant to empower black girls especially dark skinned girls who have a history of being deemed not beautiful and unworthy. There is historical reference about dark skin being treated poorly and it dates back to slavery. So, if there is a song that wants to empower dark girls, it’s not the same and Danny Leigh taunting Da baby’s other dark skinned baby’s mother saying “yellow bone is what he wants”. People who have a history of being ostracized need more songs and images in the media that celebrate them.

Basically proving that Dani Leigh's red bone skin did not save her from getting the same black man that black women get as Cynthia G would say and she needs to sit her yellow behind down somewhere. Hey @jay janzee, yes, i personally don’t think anyone should say the N word (ending with the hard “r” or ending with an “a” ) either, no matter your racial background or ethnicity. I could speak for the culture in NYC and that is black people along with Latinos say it (ending with an “a”, never with an “r”), and growing up, it was accepted but i guess it’s less accepting now since times are changing. Would Dani be considered non black even though she has Afro roots? Some people say people from her background or who are afro Latino are black and others say they’re not and when the person says they’re not, they’re called racist. Growing up, i personally would hear, “you’re not black” or “you’re one of them spanish girls” or “yes you are black”. I’m just like ahhh, when you’re of mixed race (Latinos being mixed with Spanish, African, indigenous, plus more like the Caribbean Latinos), there’s always an issue. 😩 Im genuinely asking since this has been a subject i heard all my life, especially among Latinos of the African diaspora. 🙏🏽
@propogandalf2 жыл бұрын
@@Goosefraba19 It's a mixed bag and different people will spout different opinions. Would you consider a person that is a 1/3 Korean as Asian? Or would you just acknowledge that's part of their background? To most people fully of that background they are mixed race and that is it's own separate thing. However, some people are ignorant or stuck in the past and follow the Eurocentric one drop rule.

What does the song have to do with the fight? Nothing.
@cortneybrown542 жыл бұрын
Right. The song is problematic, but her song is not the reason for her brother or her child’s father’s behavior.

She brought up a good point though as to why Dani Leigh got treated the way she did. Darkskin Black Women aren't insecure if they talk about colourism. Darkskin Black Women are tired about talking about colourism. And ignoring it, won't make us shut up any faster.
@sashare15862 жыл бұрын
@@kairelvictoria2148 DaniLeigh song is justification for how her baby daddy treated her?? Dark-skinned women definitely have experienced colorism but let's call it colorism when it truly is!! Rappers Rap about blacker the berry sweeter than juice, red bones yellow etc. Out of preference it's Not always saying one better than the other. DaniLeigh did Not say YellowBones were better than anyone. People are projecting! Why can't Black Women be proud of all shades of melanin that we come in? We've got to come together instead of leaning into separating ourselves by the colorist argument.

If you and another man fighting… why the hell ur “ entourage “ gotta be yes men and follow suit and jump this person… if you gon be on code then you and that person fight one on one ! Now to see there’s a assault and deadly weapon report… you have a daughter that is a infant ok…do better ! If tensions are high and the possibility of a situation escalating and turning the way it did… the best thing to do is walk away !!! both parties should be ashamed but this doing way too much this drama has been happening since November… 4 months of nonstop nonsense ! I’m sorry but the song had NOTHING to do with any of the fighting going on at all that should have been a whole topic when she first released the song. @NoName-sp5dp2 жыл бұрын
@@CrystalM1917 it didn't
@CrystalM19172 жыл бұрын
@@NoName-sp5dp the basics were that karma is what ultimately resulted in her brother getting beat up. Dani explained in her song (1st mistake)that bc of her aesthetic,, she is better than other women. When she got with Da baby, she assumed that bc of this, she would be exempt from his degenerate behavior that he has displayed with other women and also men...which was her 2nd mistake. She quickly found out in a very public and embarrassing manner, this was not the case. As a result, her brother reacted and ended up getting dragged on a bowling alley floor for the world to see as well. Now, had Ms. Danileigh used less narcissism and more deductive cognition in her reasoning and decision making, she would have been able to conclude that not only having a baby with but being in a relationship/associated with a man (child) such as a 'Dababy' based on past and current behavior at all, would be a poor choice to make. And it just might have you out here looking like a clown, or worse...abused, which is exactly what happened. No one deserves abuse and that's the point. Her song illustrated what she thought of herself but it didn't save her from the abuse she and her baby endured at the hands of this manchild and its specifically that arrogance that helped to put her in the position of getting abused in the first place. Dababy has been abusive for a long time. She thought it wouldn't happen to her.

Umm Dani song had nothing to do with the brother getting jumped. It was from when Dababy did Dani dirty on Instagram and was treating her like she was a worthless human being after just giving birth tonhis daughter. The brother was trying to take up for his sister. I do see Adrienne point in I would have told my brother to chill out. At the end of the day that is her child's dad and she still has to deal with him on some level. It all was a mess to be honest.

Why is Adrienne deflecting? Loni is basically saying Dani set her expectation too high when it came to Da Baby... She really thought she was the best female he had because of her looks... Once she was treated the same.. She ran to Instagram crying... Dababy probably treated her bad on purpose low key.. because of that song
@bookbag64322 жыл бұрын
It was all inappropriate. First off they’re both adults I don’t know why he was an adult feel like you have to defend your sister when she made bad choices by being with a gangster anyway. They do this a lot… I love these ladies but they speak on situations without having all the facts. A lot of this was incorrect. Dani’s song was offensive. It had nothing to do with the fight however. Her brother did what he eas supposed to do and ride for his family after she was publicly humiliated online and tormented the way she was. That’s what family is supposed to do. Da baby ran up on him and jumped him and they did not give him a “beat down” he wasn’t supposed to be able to walk straight after getting jumped. Da baby and his ppl were lame for jumping him on a slippery bowling lane and their hits Barely connected. I’m on the brothers side with this one. And after seeing that the brother only had like 2 scratches and 2 small marks… he definitely didn’t get beat up. He held his own.

Girl did u actually listen Loni was stating facts. The song was offensive and Dani made this song thinking that she was different from the other baby mother's , hence the reason Loni corrected Adrienne. Adrienne was trying to make it seem like the song could of been accepted because just like black dark skin women can be celebrated all other skin tone women can be celebrated to, but carefully added that is ignorant to think that it's ok. As for the brother yes ride for ur family but don't get surprised to get ur ass whooped. Da baby had security guards plus coming on the internet threatening someone and not expect répercussions is crazy to me. All what Loni said was facts
