They only want things because you have them. They always try to outdo your purchases or rub what they have in your face. We're not talking about that. It's not that you don't want good for your friend, it's just that you would like the same things for yourself. That is what Jeannie is talking about. She's not saying it's okay to be jealous. For Tamar, it seems (from pass comments she's made to Jeannie) that she either envies Jeannie's sunny disposition and her ability to let negative comments roll off her or Jeanie's natural ability to navigate the world of fashion and reinvent herself frequently (think Tamar's fashion mishaps she got dragged for). While these things seem minor to us who aren't as rich as Tamar, it's obvious they are big things to her because she's forever getting into social media fights and cyberbullied by people for her looks, fashion choices, etc.. I didn't say she is, I said she might be and gave direct examples of things Tamar has said out of her own mouth or shown in her body language toward Jeannie. Everyone who's in counseling isn't "in trouble" in their marriage, some folks are just going to get a third ear to help problems from becoming missiles in their relationship. Freddie and Jeannie are people who have traveling careers where Freddie has to actually go out into the wilderness for his own show and hunt animals and Jeannie travels across the globe for appearances and to shoot shows on different continents. Not to mention, Jeanie herself has said, even though no one in the viewership has listened, that Freddie is content with them NOT having kids, but it's her who feels like she's letting them down. I can see what Tamar and Jeannie meant in this conversation although Tay came off a little brash. Its true, you can't put everyone in your "friend category" but I have had instances where like Jeannie mentioned, something happened and I felt a close friend was a little jealous. Its human nature to feel jealous or insecure. As long as the person doesn't try to sabotage you or bring you down about your accomplishments or outright throw shade or hate, I can understand. A part of me feels like the friend Adrienne was referring to was Kiely Williams from her 3LW / Cheetah Girls days. They had been close friends since they were kids and when you think about it 3LW was quite a while ago so the timing fits. On top of that, Kiely didn't have the best reputation and was rumored to have really nasty ways about her.Trouble always seemed to ensue wherever she was. She was the catalyst behind why Naturi Naughton got kicked out the group (the dark skinned discrimination / KFC brawl) and she also ran Raven Symone away from doing the third Cheetah Girls movie because according to Raven, "a girl in the group had territorial issues". Which I happen to really believe because, in all honesty, Raven was the center of the group and Kiely's handlers (her management) was always pushing for her to be the lead since 3LW so I can see her being threatened by Raven's notoriety. In addition to that, Adrienne made a comment a while back during one of the chats stating that she had a group member who would constantly make remarks about her having "chicken legs" which I'd bet was Kiely. I dont know for sure but everything seems to fit. Adrienne is still cool with both Raven and Naturi today and Kiely only speaks to Sabrina Bryan from the group, so....

HiMyNameIsHeaven ahe doesn't aeem to give people chances or have much hope in them. I have a friend who I admitted to being jealous of and she admitted that's jealous of me 2 for different reasons. We cried and talked about it, encouraged each other about our individual insecurities, felt better about ourselves and move forward. These are things that happen without friends having to hate each other or mean each other harm. Tamar seem to be so cinical and not having it. I've been best friends with my friend for 14 years. We've both been envious of the other at one point or another. But never to the point where it drew a wedge between us. My friend and I both were trying for a baby at the same time. I'm currently 5 months pregnant and she's having complications. At first, my great news was a blow to her and it took her a little while to fully come around and be genuinely happy for me. It's not a bad thing to feel that type of jealousy because you admire that the person has what they have, but you also want the same thing for yourself. Most people who feel that way would not do anything negative towards someone because their jealousy doesn't stem from hatered. I think the jealousy Tamar is thinking about is when your friend pours down drink on your dress because it's better than their dress. That's middle school jealousy and there are people who do have that jealousy. But it's not the same for everybody.

I had a best friend from the 7th grade (out of HS 8 years now). When she needed a shoulder to cry or a listening ear I was there. I could write her biography from how much I know about her. When things were going well I was there as one of her cheerleaders; I never once envied her. I'm a pretty calm person and I avoid drama like the plague, so admittedly there wasn't much for me to stress about. But, when things did happen I was never able to fully express myself because the moment became about her and something "similar" that happened. All of my other friends constantly asked me why I hung out with her and I defended our friendship. This summer past I was visiting with all of my friends from high school her included. I constantly felt a tension within me whenever I was around her, but didn't feel it when I was with the others. She came to my home and made sly remarks, masking them as jokes. Something in me was telling me that this was off so I discussed it with my Mom and other friends and they all said "LET HER GO!" Yes, I do miss her on occasion, but then I remember that soul sucking feeling and I move on. Jeannie it's a wonderful thought to want to help a friend, but it's not all that realistic.
