I like what Ms. E said about every child being different and raising them accordingly. If a parent sees that a child's confidence is diminishing they need to lay off of the vicious truth and work on building their confidence. Some damage? The mother ruined jeannie and her own family. Jeannie left the family when she was 15(?) and was molested by her cousin. Her mother has anger issues and wasnt there for jeannie when she needed her the most. Having favourite child will make you lose respect for the mother. Jeannie herself told once she would be really nasty and mean to her mother. I guess because of the trauma she had with her and mist likely kids mirror the parent’s behaviour towards them when they get older. Im glad they have the opportunity to see a therapist

The interesting part is that she is the youngest. They say the youngest is sheltered and given the most attention, which the other sisters also expressed the same in their reality show: "Tamar being the youngest was babied the most." People expect you to lie about certain things, just so their feelings don't get hurt... Honesty is always the best route no matter what because the truth will find its way out some way or another and then it hurts all the more when you could have just been honest from the beginning. If you have a favorite child, you just do, there are reasons behind this that not everyone can understand. Especially if you aren't a mother.. Its not about being shady.. If you don't, that's Ok too.. My daughter Candi was the one I was very close to more than my 3 boys. The reason is my 1st daughter Crystal died at 3 1/2 months old. I agree the boys get spoiled. I thought it was only my family. Lol. I do agree with Mrs E. No favorites, love em all the same, but some are easier to deal with and that may be the reason it comes off as they are the favorite.

My little sister (RIP) always thought my mom's (RIP) favorite was my Big Brother I didn't see it as a problem that she always had my brother with her because I feel that helped him not end up like some thug robbing and killing She was hard on my sister & I She basically wouldn't let us go any where which wasn't a good thing because when she finally let my sister free she went wild after being trapped in the house all the time I was a little sneaky at first but then I became like Tamera & felt I'm going to obey my Mama's rules I think at some point my mama washed her hands with my sister because she was hurt by her behavior leading her to not be there for her when she did needed her
