I went makeup free the first 18 years of my life! My mom forbid it. She wanted me to embrace my natural beauty and take care of my face. Now at 31, I still barely wear makeup. I only wear it to go out to eat, movie or an event. No shame in being makeup free!! 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤

My mom was the same way. She didn't like for me to wear weave, makeup, or get a perm when I was younger. I'm now 21 and I enjoy my natural hair and I'm kinda just now getting into makeup.

“Makeup free” but they got Botox, go to the dermatologist every 2 weeks, extensive and very EXPENSIVE skin care routine, got eyelash extensions, lip plumpers, it’s not the same.

Embrace them instead. I have raccoon eyes and people have even told me I do. But what people dont know is that I've earned these raccoon eyes, there are stories and memories behind them filled with wisdom. If I wear makeup everyday, I wont ever see my true beauty. So I decide to show the world my real face becuase in reality, once people see your real face, there is nothing to hide.

I’m a guy. I only wear concealer to cover dark circles which runs in my family (ugh) lol. I fill in my brows and curl my lashes, that’s it. I get compliments. I’m enhancing and not covering.

I’m sorry honey. Really praying that changes for you. I’m 27. I will say, that when I was a young chicken - in my early twenties - I often felt insecure without makeup as well. I think it’s a little normal to feel that way, especially with the perfect filters that social media has. But now that I’m heading into my late twenties, I feel more confident without makeup. You literally don’t care what people think about you at all as you get older. With age and with maturity, the insecurities will gradually dissolve, especially once you gain confidence.
