Thank you so much for this! I'm a PvE player nearing 900cp, and while I've always avoided PvP, I've started to want to try it. But I just don't fully get the different mechanics and what's better for PvP. While the math mostly went over my head, it was super helpful to see the skills available to my main (warden) and see the reason the heals work. It was the first explanation that has really made sense to me in why you want a completely different set-up for PvP.

By far your greatest video OF ALL TIME. I tip my hat off to you. Biggest take away is give us a magic Vigor. And buff the counter play to healing over time or defensive sheilds. THE TRUE COUNTER PLAY IS PRE BUFF DAMAGE MOVES OR STUNS..stun moves are in a good place however pre buff damage moves need a MASSIVE BUFF. I would like to see moves like crystal weapon have a a magic scaling like soul trap..next buff the true universal pre buff damage skill..that sucks because of 1 factor time.... BUFF IMBUE WEAPON duration to 5 seconds. This way everyone has crystal weapon, counter play to this video and deadly low animation burst. For ultimate dps burst to nuke defense mechanics in this video if not paired with a dogde roll. Development team take notes.

Plus I never considered ending my rally early for a smaller heal. I always just waited it out ... but it does make sense to just take the smaller heal when a huge heal isn't necessary.

I made lots of tests on my stamsorc for vigor healing power compared to weapon damage and I found there is a linear correlation between them at about 2.33 healing power per WD across different max stam pools. I couldn't find a softcap till 8k weapon damage, is it above of it maybe?

There is always diminishing returns the more dmg you add the less overall value you get

@@TheRealGodzilla you had wrong calculations for weapon damage correlations, by subtracting the initial and final values for the tooltip and weapon damage and then dividing, you automatically should have a stable slope (modifier) but your results show 2 different ones which shouldn't be the case, thus your method is probably wrong... Simply keep stamina, for example, on a certain value and change the weapon damage and see how the tooltip changes, and finally plot them. It should be a straight line, which means one modifier and no diminishing returns (at least till 8k weapon damage)

Sweet video G, another banger 🔥 👌 I been playing alot of stamDen , I didn't know budding seeds had a burst heal without the synergy 😅 I'm trying it on my bar. I don't like the warden heals too much, I just use Lotus & rally. I do notice I need a 3rd heal sometimes but most times I'm dead before I can even swap bars to heal😂

I think sorc will be the best class to stack spell damage on next patch. They have the passive that gives spell damage for class skills and dark deal to convert all that stamina back to magicka to keep up sustain. Only wish they had minor sorcery like Templar

I didnt think so. Him and who he was with is toxic af in all honesty lol i asked to test a new build for tankiness. On fakezillas friend I wasnt attacking so i got vh staff procd pet proced and fragged to death😂 took him a solid minute of beaming and streaking for him to kill me without me attacking. Then fake zilla q'd to duel as soon as i wasnt a ghost and he took longer even in ww. I didnt think you would take that long to kill someone whos newer to pvp building like that😂

That's a very hard question to answer that I don't think many people will achieve. But here is always diminishing returns as you get more damage, the more you gain the less potential it has

I won't nitpick cuz a lot of this can be fairly subjective, the only thing I would really want to say is that for magsorc you don't wanna put healing ward on top because it will take the damage and heal less. Always put healing ward first and cover it with hardened and/or dampen

They stack on top of each other. The one you casted first absorbs the damage till it wears off, then the second shield starts to absorb damage.

Personally I think healing should not scale off of wd or sp at all. It should scale off resource pool, resource regen, or even purely off of healing done stat. I hate the idea that a game scales healing off of damage score. There should be a draw back to being a cannon. Too many builds can top off with one skill. Damage should be damage. Healing should be healing.

magblade doesn't use dark cloak, shadowy is so stronger, because you basically use cloak and get heal by your swallow soul. and you don't take damage in cloak, most of the time

Well, Rally... I watched the whole vigor thing and its pretty dang vigor useful. Vigor.. and vigor is apparently so ducking op vigor that if you don't vigor you die.. if you vigor you win.. if you vigor and roll dodge you reset the (vigor) fight. If you and the enemy both vigor, you transcend eso.. vigor.. and become immortal (vigor) beings destined for an eternal (vigor) struggle till the end of time.. vigor. The end. Rally. Vigor.

run a broken build and play against a bunch of pve players in the sewers and you can survive just like the opening clip but guarantee you aint surviving against that many people who actually know how to pvp so dont be disappointed and healing being based on weapon damage is totally reee and makes no real sense imo
