Sad times when the best case scenario is new cold wars. During the 50s-80s there was limited perception of 'truthful' information and propaganda. The sides were clearly set as communism vs democracy. It will be interesting to see how the modern version of information warfare changes our ability to maintain stable democracies when they are a clear target for our adversaries. Great interview.

Today we face the situation where it is basically US global hegemony/dictatorship (i.e. US+ US vassal states) vs. global democracy (i.e. global majority).

I also happen to agree that the public deserves to have their eyes open on what the New Cold War really looks like, and how it is already affecting them. I believe that it is reprehensible that Joe Biden thinks that Americans should shove their heads in the dirt and not know, or even ask about, what's really going on (the forced response to the origins of COVID, for example, was awful).
