Here's my order of ranking, Abyss Wanderer, Pioneer's Lament, Luminous Diver, Old Black Diver, Radiant Twilight, Diver Expeditionary, Grand Fisher, Grand Diver Cloak, Diver Spelunking Kit, Living Weapon, Abyss Nullifier, Nautlant Squba, Patient Zero, Shatterborne Twilight, Prototype Manta R-1. I like cool fancy shiny. I also simp for the Abyss Wanderer's character 🗿and a character named Luminous Valentine so I like Luminous Diver and Pioneer's Lament looks like Guts's armor.

I like that they chose a more like organic and made out of materials that aren’t techy kind of armor, because that’s more like the divers. If they wanna get a tech suit we could easily get that out of the chariot spire/ignition union

awh, i liked abyss wanderer much more. dont get me wrong, grand fisher is cool too! but the ignition union already has some pretty heavy armor, so i think abyss wanderer would help differ the divers from them with how it looks more more agile and sophisticated compared to the deepdelver stuff which looks more efficient. it also fits with how black divers are a bit egotistical and confident (hence more cloth instead of just armor) of while deepdelvers are cautious and organized. ...also ,this new armor feels kinda weird since arcwarder is a whole damn oath... (i do love the npc though, hes pretty cool)

I’m ngl it would be cool to see different black diver npcs with their own armor. They all have different ideals and I think have taken some inspiration from the made in abyss white whistles. It would be cool to see their different personalities in their masterfully crafted armor pieces, since they are the top tier divers.

*TL;DR: Diver Spelunking is a must-have, and the rest I chose don't have to be Divers related and can come from either special quests or random loot tables, or not be added at all.* Yap session: If it was me, I'd add the Diver Spelunking Kit, Abyss Wanderer, Pioneer's Lament, Patient Zero, and Citadel Archivist/Old Black Diver. I like Made in Abyss, and with the depths + divers being so heavily inspired from it, and the divers themselves preferring light armor over heavy armor, that will be the foundation for my decisions here. I will go over briefly my opinion on each outfit and their obtainment. *Diver Spelunking Kit* is definitely an outfit I consider a must-have for Deepwoken. It fleshes out the drip any diver would realistically have, and overall would give you a look that similar outfits wouldn't provide. I could see it as an uncommon drop from any depths chest, as well as bought from merchant ships. *Old Black Diver* and *Citadel Archivist* are based on the same character. Both have their own fun uses for drip as well. I can see them being dropped from corrupt sharkos, or maybe an npc quest. I wouldn't add both, I would pick one or the other fit. *Pioneer's Lament* has some insane drip. The lore for it makes it seem like it's an ancient antique set from the greatest explorers in history, first generation gigachads. It's on the heavier side, but it's excusable because I, too, would wear heavier armor if I'm the first person to properly explore the horrifying afterlife. I think it could be a reward for the layer 2 ghost quest, or a special random event. *Abyss Wanderer Set* does seem like the type of outfit modern Divers would wear. Light materials like cloth, while still appearing durable with various metals seemingly underneath. I think it could be a reward for getting hero rep with the divers. *Patient Zero* could be something you get after turning in the materials to get every monster mantra to Dr. Carrion, who gives you this special set of clothes as thanks for being an incredible assistant or something. The current state of the Grand Fisher set is pitiful. The NPC says nothing when you kill him and there's no lore. At least with Maestro, you fight him and he gives you the monastery drip, which can be interpreted as him giving you it because he respects you or something. It irks me that it has no description as well, though. Looking at it lore wise, imagine what your character in-game does (this is basically a deepwoken fanfic): You are a powerful adventurer, on your way to Castle Light to try to rizz up Klaris yet again. The journeyman divers give you a nod in recognition as you move past the bridge. You glance at the job board to your side, and notice an odd request. Taking a closer look, it's called The Fisherman, located in that ruined city. Other than a detector for something, you are given no other information about this job. You take it, pure curiosity driving your decisions to take a job with such sparse details. You arrive at the city, and run around for about 30 minutes. You start to doubt the job, whether it's even real, whether the detector for whatever you're detecting is broken. Had it ever even worked? Just as you were about to call it quits, you get a ping from the detector. The target is surely nearby. You redouble your efforts with newfound motivation, following the direction of the detector. You've already sunk in this much time, might as well see it to the end. You walk into an obscure alleyway, and hear the clear sound of someone pulling out their weapon, as someone quickly approaches you. You launch into a fierce battle, or so you thought. They weren't as skilled as you thought at first glance. You push them against a wall, and it was no longer a battle but a relatively boring beatdown. This mysterious opponent is heavily armored - and with a closer observation now that you know they aren't a big threat, you recognize the Divers' emblem etched in several places throughout their heavy armor. It's almost as intriguing as how durable they are, it's already been like 5 minutes since you pinned them in a corner and hacked away at their form, taking advantage of their flawed reflexes. The enemy succumbs to your attacks not long after. They said nothing as their last words, eerily similar to those city guards. You've beat the life out of them, but you wonder if they even had any at all? As their body disappears, not even leaving a loot bag, their armor had stayed where the corpse previously resided. Behind you is your reward for completing the job, nothing of interest to you inside. Looking at your prize, find the words etched into somewhere on the armor... "Grand Fisher" Yeah, it's literally: go to castle light, get quest, go to city, find npc, find out npc has a lot of hp and isn't very dangerous, win. The armor has zero lore other than that, at the moment. It doesn't need any, but it would be nice. I didn't even notice the npc had chainwarden until someone told me, even though I'm 100% sure I saw it. My brain categorized it as non-important and that's it.
