I always liked how the music would intensify in the Hitman trilogy whenever you did something illegal, only to revert back to normal as things calmed down. The smooth transition is something that few games have managed to accomplish.

It's called an adaptive soundtrack, and a lot of big budget games these days tend to do it. There's some really inventive ways in which it can be used, but Hitman does it cleanly and beautifully.

For a first non-tutorial level, this track does so much to make an impression. If you can manage to stay within the first few levels of this track, you feel like a real sneaky mother fucker. Even if you mess up, you feel the scale of the situation, leading you to either try and fight your way out or take the smarter approach and hide until the heat dies down. The way that everything is scored only helps to promote the idea that you have the true freedom to approach the level in any way that works.

I love the stealth scouting, trespassing, unlawful behaviour, secrets of the palace and the finale music in particular because gives me James Bond/ Johnny English vibes.

Honestly, Paris is one of the best first levels I've ever played in a video game. Plenty of ways and opportunities to kill the two targets, incredible atmosphere and visuals, and of course the music all combine to make The Showstopper a fantastic first level and one of the most memorable missions in the trilogy. Though the music works just as well in Landslide, it just doesn't do it for me in Bangkok. I can't say why. The only thing I don't really like about Paris is that trying to kill Novikov without changing disguises is kind of awkward. Even if you don't like Paris, though, you've gotta admit that the Combat theme for Paris is one of the best Combat themes in the trilogy.

Pretty sure if you have the Krugermeier you can shoot down the chandelier in the lobby and while the civilian NPCs notice, the real intelligent NPCs only notice the gunshot. If you don't care about silent assassin, you can always smuggle a sniper rifle (Preferably a subsonic one) into the shed near the helicopter, use the pipe in the back to reach the museum owner's study, steal the fireworks detonator, pick up the briefcase from the shed and the crowbar near the door of the shed, open up the dock doors and snipe from the barge's mast. Edit: You can get SASO really easy if you use the same method but climb up to the top auction via the pipe, and throw Dalia onto Novikov. The NPCs will allow you to climb up to the top, and your stock suit is 100% allowed

Well, I mixed the standalone accordion part with the regular stealth theme manually, but you can hear the same "blend" in-game when you're wandering in the garden area near the mast or Larin's boat.

im listening to these now trying to sed of they compare to the soundtrack by Jesper Kyd, I think that's his name anyway. he dod the hitman 2 soundtrack and those tracks could be put out as an electronic music album and nobody would bat an eye. the exploration music is one of my favorites in all the games I've played although I might've forgotten some but re-disclvering the hitman games music that Kyd did was a great day to say the least..
