I did my version to my son this weekend (recorded this end of last week) and he followed me into the house and then goes back outside a few minutes later. My wife walked into the room and says where do you want this? It was the lead my 4 year old brought it in and said here mom it’s dads leaf. 😂

An old friend of mine, who is sadly no longer with us, was a musician. For a while he was in the house band at a theatre and played for a lot of music and comedy acts. One time they were playing for Tommy Cooper. Tommy’s musical director came up to them before the show and gave them the sheet music and said “whatever you do, don’t watch Tommy. Just listen for your cues and don’t watch his act”. They didn’t understand why, and watched the whole act. They soon realised why they were advised not to. They were crying with laughter and missed every single cue!

Peters and Lee were a folk and pop duo, Lennie Peters and Dianne Lee. Peters was blind, he was blinded in one eye in a car accident at the age of 5 and blinded in the other eye when he was 16 by a thrown brick. Their hits included Walking Home (No1 in 1973), Our Song, Don't Stay Away Too Long and Hey Mr Music Man.

Go easy on the fez. Tommy got away with it but others may not. It should be treated with respect as it's a sign of a religious/political affiliation. It got bad when some countries banned people from wearing them. Just saying ....!
