Nice job guys, I go overlanding every year on the piaute and it’s my favorite area. I know it like the back of my hand and it’s super fun.

We are heading to Marysvale next week, and driving from Indianapolis. We are 72 years old and can do it, so can you. So get out and do some riding and stop setting around.

Thank you so much for your videos. The winch installation was a life saver. May I ask how you move camper and sxs. Is the camper a toy hauler? Retiring next year and these trails are on my bucket list Lord willing. Thanks again

You're welcome ! Glad they were helpful 👍 Our trailer is a toy hauler. It also has a hitch on the back of it, so we can haul Jr's Maverick Trail in the garage and ours on the trailer towed behind. There are some states that don't allow double towing, but here in Idaho and Utah it's legal, so we're good. Toy haulers are the way to go 👍

Have you ever stayed at Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort just outside of Marysvale and can you access trails from that resort? We enjoy your show.
@MyATVlife
@MyATVlife Жыл бұрын
Thank You ! We've never stayed there, but have ridden by there many times. Easy access right on to the trail, but you'll have to ride a few miles South to get to an intersection where you can choose your direction, no biggie. It's a cool place, I just like staying in town.

The video was really helpful. Me and my wife bought a 50" rzr and really never thought of piute trail till we started watching your videos

We absolutely love it there, and with a 50 inch machine you'll be able to see it all. It's a place that really any machine can go, but the really special trails are the 50 inch trails. And as an added bonus, there's usually less traffic on the 50 inch trails. 👍

THANK YOU! We've done a bit of riding out of Torrey but not any of the Paiute. But we sure agree that early Fall is the best!

Another fantastic series from you both. I actually didn’t want to see it end. Paiute Trail is now on my bucket list. Since my last comment, and the arrival of my new Maverick Trail, I’ve had a few great rides here in SW Idaho. Can’t wait for my planned trips this summer. Doing a week at Yankee Fork (Challis) in July and a week in September near Warm Lake (between Cascade and McCall). Thank you again for sharing your adventures. Happy Trails!!!

When the new 2023 Can Am Defender Max Limited's are released/announced next month I am going to place my order for one. They are definitely not 50 inch like my old Rzr 800 was. Having said that, are there enough trails to take a Defender on to make it worth the trip? I live in central Wyoming.

I'd say 90-95% of the trails on the Paiute are 60 inch plus. Lots of roads with some beautiful scenery

I have watched SO many of your GREAT videos! I am waiting on you to "take a certain ride", but I realize the only way you may consider this ride is by my suggesting it. Basically, I am entering the ATV market in a month or so and I'd love to see you ride from Marysvale west to have lunch at the amazing Beaver Creamery and back to Marysvale. I will likely have to wait until next September if you consider this trip, but I am hoping that I can take this trip during 2022! We will see! Great video.
@MyATVlife
@MyATVlife 2 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking about doing that ride for a few years now, but just haven't made time for it. But I've been thinking very seriously about doing it this year. It's one of the few Paiute trails (05) that I haven't been on. The only thing that makes me reconsider is the fact that it's out and back out of Marysvale instead of a loop, BUT it is time I make it happen. I'll pencil it in for our 2022 trip late September. 👍

Have you guys seen a double red diamond on the Paiute? We went up 66 and that was by far the most challenging trail there. Your right about the gates. We have measured, the narrowest we’ve measured was 51 1/2”. Really enjoy watching your videos!

Have you ever had a flat on any of your rigs?
@MyATVlife
@MyATVlife 2 жыл бұрын
The stock tires that came on the Maverick Trail were junk. I blew one at about 600 miles. The rubber was so soft that it would not hold a tire plug. That's the only flat I've ever had.

Camera question. Is the GoPro 10 worth the price? Or is the 7 adequate (which is considerably cheaper).
@MyATVlife
@MyATVlife 2 жыл бұрын
For the price (if you can find a Hero 7) I think the 7 is a better deal. The Hero 10 is better, no doubt, but I don’t think it’s twice as good (at twice the cost) as the 7. Just my opinion. I rarely shoot in 4K, but when I do the Hero 10 looks marginally better, but when shooting in 1080p ( which I do 99% of the time ) I think the Hero 7 looks better at 1080p than the 10 does. The stabilization of the 10 is better than the 7, but the 7 does a pretty good job. I really do like the horizon leveling of the 10 which the 7 doesn’t have. Like I said, the 10 is better, and does a few things the 7 can’t do, but I don’t think it’s a huge jump from the 7 in video quality. FYI This video was shot with a Hero 7 ( the shots of us together ) The shot of me alone in the office was the Hero 10

Good video! I'm also doing Pauite trails in September with the Pagosa Springs Atv club. Good info here. BTW, I know your tires are Tusk Terrabytes, how well do they ride on hard Rocky trails?
@MyATVlife
@MyATVlife 2 жыл бұрын
I've been very happy with them, they've gone everywhere I've pointed them. Mine are about done now, just aver 5,000 miles on them, so it's time for a new set of tires. I will probably buy another set of Terrabites, but maybe a bigger size. We're glad the video was helpful, and enjoy your trip. 👍
