In this video titled EU4 A to Z - Can I Conquer ALL THE COASTLINE As Croatia in Europa Universalis 4 1.33 France. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Croatia, and I attempt to conquer the entire coastline of The Adriatic Sea. So let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. As you know, Cyprus is divided between Turks and Greeks with heated tension. So to resolve it have a vassal of Byzantium and Ottoman Empire so they don’t fight over whether Cyprus is Greek or Turkish land

Cyprus's etymology comes from copper, so u could become trade leader in producing copper. I think u can also become a pirate republic quite easy too so there's that option also.

I think maybe when you left the HRE and Austria gained back Triest, you should've first cored it in the first place and then to leave the HRE with that particular province before you left with your country, it's an opinion, but it might work.

As Cyprus you should change all Greek provinces to Turkish and viceversa so in the future north Cyprus will be Greek and the south one will be Turkish

Hey Red Hawk, amazing video as always! For your Cyprus run I would recommend taking over every Sunni province in the Levant Subcontinent (mapmode) and convert each one to Catholic - think of is a "True Crusader" run. Extra bonus you can form the Kingdom of Jerusalem for the achievement as well! Though you can always save this for the Knights. Alternatively, (though I am unsure how you would do it) you could convert your religion to Jewish and form Jerusalem as a Jewish Monarchy. Cyprus has a long history of being a heaven for expelled Jews throughout history, from the Ottomans to the Spanish to even WW2, so it could be an interesting twist on the King of Jerusalem achievement. I imagine you'd have to no CB Ethiopia, although in my last game the Ottomans took the decision to accept the Safartic Jews in Macedonia - so you could also wait for them to take the decision and go from there. I have faith you can figure it out, though it would surely be a difficult run. Either way, you get to show off Religious ideas - which you always are talking up. I 100% agree with you that Religious are among the better ideas in the game, while humanist is total trash - so I’d like to see a run where Religious ideas really get to shine! Keep up the best EU4 content in the community!

Most of the Cyprus gameplay I saw was deving your province from start to finish while doing nothing on reddit. Challenge: As Cyprus don't expand and hold the Island from start to finish, sounds really boring, the true challenge will be on finishing the run, good luck! But here is a real challenge: As Cyprus take as many Islands as possible in the first 100 years and then defend your home from the Ottomans (You declare and hold you capital for 5 years, trade conflict or conquest). So you have until 1544, november to prepare yourself. If the Ottomans somehow dies, I guess there's the Mamluks.

I'm just hoping "Custom Nation" gets a spot in season C. Cyprus is known for being a crusading nation; they're Catholic. For whatever reason, the Mamluks guarantee their independence at the start despite the religious differences. Would the Mamluks still guarantee Cyprus' independence if they weren't an Abrahamic religion, and were instead preaching about Doomsday? Convert to Nahuatl as Cyprus. Doom can take on many forms... including bankruptcy.

I know this is a bit late but, as a suggestion for a potential future Croatia run if you feel like playing one, it's REALLY easy to get Ottomans to support independence (they just need to rival Hungary) and also Bohemia so it's just a waiting game till 1449 to declare war. Btw the event for Hungary getting a king has three ways it can go and for some reason the AI chooses the suboptimal route most of the time cause they can get a 4/5/5 ruler with Ladislav as heir as well...

Converting always screws things up!! I’d take your provinces if you were seeking support for independence lmao. I formed Dalmatia with Ragusa, then Austria broke our alliance and rivaled me. I only survived because of the ottoman guarantee. But I couldn’t do anything after Austria warned me. I’m not a great player so I got too stressed out.

Okay so you can actually really easily form 3 different nations as Cyprus 1. Jerusalem because you're a Crusader 2. France because you're of Francien culture at the start 3. Greece because your one province at the start is Greek so it's really easy to culture flip Personally I think 2 and 3 are probably about as hard as each other so either one of those? Not sure if I've ever seen you form Greece though, so that could be cool and very challenging.

Im not sure if the mission gives you lvl 3 on the Ragusa center of trade. Naples has the same mission and if you uprade it to lvl you just get trade eff for 20 years instead.
