Happy Saturday everyone! Today we find ourselves with a Toyota Vs Lexus dilemma. With a nearly $7,000 price difference, do you guys feel the Lexus badge NX to be worth the premium over the new Venza? Let us know what you think below!

Absolutely not. You are basically spending an additional $7k for a badge (I think at $50k the Lexus IS way overpriced). The Lexus Is smaller, has less power and is slower, offers lower fuel economy, older tech, and based on a previous generation vehicle. Over the past few years, many of these mainstream brands have really upped their game and in many cases offer the same features if properly equipped as the luxury brands. So unless a luxury badge matters to the buyer, you can probably do just as well, and sometimes even better by choosing a mainstream brand.

Where do you put your and passenger put your phones. Please don't say cupholders. Then where does your Statbucks go? Hand bag, crossbody bag? Behind front seats, then rear passenger legs go? That's why and the Rav4 prime better ride and power lower price and tax credit; I had to nix the Venza. I think it has a sleek new age look, But the Rav4 prime's drivetrain and suspension is infinitely better. Venza shouldnhave it on top line for the same $3k more , but then its really in Lexus shoes. Venza should be a Lexus. Make the NX bigger. Make the RX a much bigger 3 row std.& Where are the sportback models? Make the Venza SB a sportback Rav4. Is it the price and or the styling holding down Venza sales? I like the styling, but $5k too much with out the Rav4Prime drivetrain. A Toyota rare fail. I've seen more 8 newer Mazda miatas than the 3 Venzas in 2020. That include the 1 at dealership 5blks from home. 5mths, still out front. No sale. Hmmm it's a 2020. Maybe they'll take $8.5k off.

I feel (fingers crossed) I will get a lot of that money back on resale. Only time will tell. And the track pad? Once you get used to it, it’s perfectly fine. Hey, both seem like great vehicles. Great review! Went from a Rav4 to a Titanium Glow Venza XLE about 3 weeks ago. Passenger compartment noticeably smaller than my Rav4 along with the much smaller cargo space, even though the Venza is slightly longer overall. Mine has the knobs and traditional hard buttons, which I definitely prefer. I don't need towing capability since I have a truck. Really love the ride comfort and feel as well as the 40 mph gas mileage. Personally despise the front grill of the Lexus and have been waiting for a change but gave up when I saw the Venza. Absolutely love the look and feel of a Lexus but for over $10,000 less it was a no brainer for me.

Pras, you really dont want the Venza to sell any vehicles. Please do not compare it to RDX, CX5 signature or Kuro, heck Sorento/Sante fe. Any 2022 Tuscan model vs Venza is the final nail in Venza's coffin...again. Venza needs Prime at present price. Ok plus $2k then get $7500 tax credit.

As of December 2021 in CA every Toyota dealership I've visited is marking up $9999 for hybrids. Lexus dealerships do not have this so far

I’m looking at a 2021 Toyota Avalon XLE HYBRID. Why isn’t ALL WHEEL DRIVE OFFERED WITH THE AVALON HYBRID?. It’s a great vehicle 😀👍

Some may find it tough to tell the difference with doors locked while significant gaps still possibly exist in its fundamental traits.

Can you compare NX350h vs Crown signia

Venza needs to option a moonroof. And get rid of the 100% touch buttons on the HVAC, with no knobs on the info display (on the Limited line). Venza was on deck last week for my wife's vehicle purchase, but she ultimately went with the RAV4 for more room and the sunroof.

Range Rover has them. Why not 1 Toyota to steal some Evoque sales. Yes, people are cross shopping them.

I hear there almost indestructible. Even with turbo or hybrid Lexus NX.

Parents picked up the Venza LE, which has the equivalent to a Rav4 Hybrid XLE Premium, but without the moonroof. Went along for the test drive and Venza was noticeably quieter and smoother ride, though less roomier than Rav4. Definitely agree with the very luxurious feel of Venza, just as Sofyan reported!

Are both built on the same platform? I think that they're equally of great quality.
@naveenthemachine4 жыл бұрын
No. The nx is currently built on the previous gen rav4 The venza is part of the TNGA platform which also underpins the current rav4
