The car world is going electric and even the Ford Mustang can’t escape the inevitable. Thankfully, the future looks fast and it looks like Ford has really taken a few risks and spent a lot of time making sure the #MustangMachE is worthy of such an iconic name. The #MustangMachEGT is designed to go against those pesky fast Tesla’s on the road and the #MachEGTPerformance has the stats to keep up, nearly 500 HP, 260 miles of range, and 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.

Try changing your frame rate in your video when filming the LED head and taillights. It should get rid of that flickering. Some lights flicker at a fast rate and some frame rates will end up catching that. Awesome videos. Love your review videos the best

I have to admit that for a while, I was NOT a fan of what I had referred to as a "Mustang Wanna Be". That is until I saw one at our annual Mustang Club meeting last month. The young man who owned one of these could not have been more enthused with his purchase, having been a previous "regular" Mustang owner. After he gave me a tour of the car, I was truly surprised in a positive way. Just for the record, I wouldn't have a piece of crap Tesla if they GAVE me one. I think Ford is on the right track, no pun intended, with this Mach E. There are only two things I would change on this if I could... the rear window wiper should be tucked up under the spoiler and the front seats should come with AC ventilation. Nice review, Sofyan.

I see more Mach e than tesla model y lol. The Mach E doesn’t have as good as a driving feel and it lacks the performance like we get in the teslas. Teslas also have the FSD feature and the Mach e does not. Also, the Mach e infotainment system is so much harder to use and isn’t as good as the teslas. I have both so I’d know.

It's hard to beat Tesla's SuperCharger network, battery life/range, and performance. Their styling is questionable (I do still like the Model S), as is their build quality. If I had the money, I would buy the new Mercedes EQS 580. That makes this Mustang look like the heap it is inside. You get what you pay for I guess.

The interior has grown on me everytime I look at Mach E GT vs. other competitors EVs. The software infotainment system is impressive, but I would recommend the knob be used for multiple purpose changes besides just changing the volume. Key to a smart software developer is never limit your options on physical knobs and buttons. Love the fact that developers are doing over-the-air updates whenever available w/o the need to come in to dealerships. I would also like to see Ford make solar panel rooftops with sliding sunroof technology a game changer until the supercharger stations are everywhere.

London already has congestion zone where fossil cars have to pay expensive fee just to use the road and they also have to pay expensive road tax every 12 months whereas EV are free. In Norway many fossil stations are converted to EV charging stations. It's more and more harder to buy and maintain fossil car thats why EV are future proof. In not long distant future, cars with tailpipe emissions will be completely banned. Thats why buying ev is future proof at least in my area and country.

You know it’s bad when actual Tesla owners are even tired of seeing Teslas. They have become as normal as Corollas. I just couldn’t see myself paying the premium for a Tesla when there are better looking, better driving, more unique, and more efficient EVs on the way. The Mach-E is great especially considering it’s level of technology. The most technologically advanced Ford currently available on the market.

As a V8 mustang owner, this is an interesting one. I think it's elegant to look at and more importantly, quiet. Don't get me wrong, i love blasting bald eagles out of my exhaust but sometimes I would like to make a quiet entrance. I'm definitely keeping my eye on this for later in the years.

I have a s550 gt pp. Ford knocked this one out of the park, a neighbor just got this with the performance pack in blue. It's a knockout, looks just as good as my Mustang, but with 4 doors and a glass roof and family friendly, which is great as I have a kid now. It's frankly insane. On my future shopping list but not selling the 5.0.

Idc what most of the Muscle group usually say. I'm really liking the Mach E as a performance oriented, electric workhorse. I'm a die hard V8 fan with a family history of Ford and Dodge. But this....this just seems so attractive as a DD or a camp out vehicle/road trip. Unlike most car guys, I'm accepting the wave of Electricity slowly. I won't drive a Tesla, but this I will! Give us more electric performance brands! This is like a Durango of Ford (Yes I know the Explorer exists. But it's a Explorer!). Except it's electric! It's when you can't have a sports car anymore or have to have a life where you can't fit a second or third car into it. or maybe you just hate paying for mpg for that V8 mustang you take in every so often for more and more problems. The reason Ford and all these other companies are making crossover versions of their muscle/sports cars is obvious. The generation that grew up racing Eclipses, Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers have all grown up. They had kids and need to do more then just race to work everyday. This is a happy medium. It's the Rambler wagon to the Ramble AMX. It's the "I got more going on in life, but I still love the performance." Chevy did something similar with the new Blazer. Making it all Camaro inspired with a bit of fuel efficiency. It's got the Camaro interior and fun, but the space and capabilities of the family car. I'll happy embrace this side of auto making. It shows they are listening to that generation that grew up. I have a V8 that I love to death. But it's too old to tow and too costly to keep on the road other then shows. While my Inline 3 saves me gas, it doesn't have the space, power or capability something like this would. A lot of dunderheads in the car community will spit and curse saying that Ford is coping into a Tesla. I do say, yes they might be doing that to some degree. But everyone else is. What people really want is more performance and efficiency then they got out of the Honda Daily from 1995

The Ford Maverick, Bronco Sport, Mach E, and the majority of their SUV line, equipped with four cylinder engines will be produced there. Late in 2019, Ford announce the Edge and Nautilus lines will move from Canada and the States to Mexico and China. Trump promised the MCA deal would maintain and create US jobs. To date, just in the Automotive sector, GM, Chrysler/ Fiat, Hyundai, BMW and even Toyota announced moving production of it's TRUCKS to Mexico. The MCA is doing the exact opposite of what was promised to the citizens. Further, I haven't even touched on Boeing subcontractors, Carrier, York, and other industry sectors moving to Mexico, all announced AFTER the MCA was ratified.

Agree. This isn't a Mustang. Front and side profile ( from an angle ) are ok. Rear isn't great and from a different angle neither is the side profile. Ford has done similar over in Europe. They took the Puma ( small Fiesta based coupe ) and turned it into a small SUV. Original Puma fans aren't happy. Having said that the new Puma seems to have sold successfully. Personally think they should rename this to something else. Keep Mustang ICE or mild hybrid

Yes, electric vehicles emit more carbon during their manufacturing process than a gas powered car, but if it’s charged on a typical American power grid it more than makes up for that during its lifetime. Pump in the quiet, turn off the noise. The sound quality of it's stereo should be incredible in that quiet car. Red interior would look great with black, dark grey and white exteriors. Living in Florida white interior would be sweet. My First car had a dark green metallic finish with white interior, was quite the head turner and In that GT 😚 definitely sweet.

It's a lot less for a Tesla but not for ford or other companies like VW they are advertising less range so you don't get shocked look at the F 150 lightning they advertise the rang with 1500 pound in the bed, but you're right in really cold climate all of them will suffer, I still think plugin hybrid it's the best of 2 world for now

The Mach E is NOT a head turner unless you get it in a head turner color. I saw one 3 months ago at my local gas station, dark grey, no one payed any attention to it at all, I didnt even know they came out at that time. It looked so plain.

I turn the propulsion sound off on my Mach E. I prefer the silence. I think that adds to the electric vehicle feel as opposed to pretending to be making noise. Will for sure be looking to get in to the MMEGTPE (wow!) when I am done with this lease on my current Mach E Premium AWD. I absolutely love it. But if I want to feel the full power of what this vehicle can offer.

Toyota should upgrade the motor in the Prius and sell it as a Supra. Honda should stick an electric motor in a Pilot and call it a NSX. Electric Jeep? Call it a Challenger.

just 2 quick comments. The rear diffuser is different on the GT's vs the regular Mach-e. Also i dont believe the frunk divders can be added in. there's not groves for them in the new frunk based on video and pictures.

This is quite simply, ( it feels like anyway ) a Tesla Model Y performance, made by a *legacy* automaker.... But some Mustang stans I met recently still is steaming with the use of the Mustang name on a "stupid" crossover EV thing... "Sacrilage" and "Blasphemy" was some of the words I heard them mutter.... But I don't care, This thing is awesome in an insane way!

The only thing I wish Ford would change with this vehicle is that screen. Mercedes did a much better job with their screen in the new SL 63. Ford should minimize that screen and recess it somehow in the dashboard..

Everyone talks about the extra torque which 34 is minimal, but no one mentions how much more the GT performance weighs because of the suspension. It's got to weigh another 150lbs. Plus no wheel spin on the standard, I'm guessing the 0-60 is the same or better in the standard GT.

The Mach E GT and the Kia EV6 both near a similar price and both are interesting. I would lean toward the Kia at the moment.

I wouldn't lean toward anything that hasn't been on the road for at least a year or longer. I don't trust ICE manufacturers to get this right. Look at the debacle GM has on their hands with the Bolt. Of course, GM fucks everything up so maybe that's a poor example.

What a relief that car/suv is. Actual styling unlike the generic crap Tesla puts out. It's like Tesla's style dept is filled with a bunch of mush minds/smooth brains. 3.5 sec 0-60 is respectable but not great as a ev goes. It is though more than one needs on the roads and most don't know how quick that is. It does need to keep that up through the 1/4 mile though
