Lot of hate for this thing. 99% commenting never drove it. It's faster and handles better than you think. Didn't want to like it over some other competitors, but overall it ticked all the boxes for us and it really is a good vehicle. Not a MB fanboy either. 1st MB I've owned. Had Mazda's, Audi's, Nissan, Honda's among others. Wanted to wait for 35 but didn't have time on my side. Also weighed the extra $10k for about 1 second 0-60 w/ a launch control that will never be used. Also fear of a stiff ride w/ a my worsening back, but if someone does go for it I'm sure they will and others who ride with in it will be pleasantly surprised.

Well said. It is a good car that actually has a good value as a daily drive - to bad you can not try the 220d variant we have en Europe. That 2-liter 400NM 190 hp diesel engine makes the car shine: 7,7 sec to 60 and 50 mpg with very impressive acceleration when you want to overtake. Il wait for pre owned ones.

doesn't change the fact that it looks boring, swap that star out for any other manufacturer badge and you couldn't' tell.

Is it just me or the audio is lacking in quality? Great video though.

The rear kind of looks like Mighty B

Regret buying one, it is not refined as GLC in many area. It is just good for going around town. It is pretty noisy on highway, rear seat does not recline meaning in comfort level. The bucket seat is not comfortable!

Why did you always refer it as Benz instead of Mercedes. Do review Sears and just call it Roebuck.
@brandonlin61264 жыл бұрын
It was referred as Benz because of mbux. If you say Mercedes the AI helper in the infotainment screen will go nuts and basically spam you with "how may I help you"

*I love the GLB but I am not about to buy a car where you have to PAY for 2nd row side air bags, that should be standard, period.*

Not a car I would drop 55k on
@jeffs60904 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Maybe if the the GLB35 fully optioned were $55k, perhaps I'd consider that. But a fully loaded 250 with a somewhat sluggish engine is that much. The 35 fully loaded will probably be close to $65k which is a definite no go.

A, CLA, C, E, CLS, S with coupes and wagons available. That's more than most manufacturers.

The same money as a fully loaded Atlas Cross Sport R line and it doesn't have cooled seats or radar cruise. Also the quality is awful in these cheap Mercedes cars, it's ridiculous they can ask the same money Kia and Hyundai ask for the Teluride and Palisade for this crap!

I *HATE* the upward kink of the rear window...reminds me of the old, frumpy Lincoln MKT.

What is the point of this variant? Cheaper forward biased drive train for people who don't care for driving dynamics? Sounds like the Mercedes version of the BMW X1.
