Why does a luxury car not have a height adjustment system and has normal assistance? Infiniti QX 80, its new generation, has a height adjustment system and wind assistance, the only luxury car in the world that does not have such a suspension system and does not have a paddle shifter.

One of the main advantages of a split tailgate on a large car is that the hatch doesn’t stick out ridiculously far when it’s open. Overall I’m really liking these updates. My only criticism with the Navigator (and Expedition) is that they’re too slab sided. Flare the fenders, give it a stronger crease… something.

Agreed. Also, for a redesign that was long overdue - this looks like lots of afterthoughts. Disappointing that it just looks like a rental from the side and a weird wagoneer from the front + the rear of an EV Kia.

Good observation and I completely agree on the body lines/exterior. The split tailgate is fantastic on a full size SUV. It’s a little surprising that it took the big 3 (Ford, Chevy/GMC, Ram) this long to implement one but a welcome change for sure.

the whole full size SUV crowd is doing an amazing job with these refreshes. Cadillac's escalade and now Lincoln's Navigator (and even the import crowd with the LX and QX80) are all getting refreshes that tone down gaudiness/chrome everywhere vibe and replaces it with a more subtle luxury aim designs.

But because we’ve seen how it’s been executed in the Cadillac, this interior just looks crazy and thrown together over a Zoom meeting. Beautiful materials that will compare nicely but their integration and placement of screens, buttons/controls and switches are off. Exterior rear looks like a watered down Escalade _IQ._

@@chill-pill923 tragically, yes. There was just a shooting at my Alma mata and I’m still in shock to be honest. I just moved back to Winder and was out getting tires put on my car when the owner of the shop who barely speaks English with a heavy accent was trying to tell me there were cops flying past his shop a few mins before I arrived heading towards the school. There’s only one high school? Middle school, and elementary school in the area and they’re all there together. My phone was dead and i didn’t understand what was really happening at the time, wasn’t until i got home that i realized what was going on down the street from me. This is absolutely insane.

Lincoln/Ford THANKFULLY has been doing Amber turn signals for a while now. For the Navigator, Lincoln started using Amber with the introduction of the 2015 model. I loathe red-colored turn signals and appreciate manufacturers that go the extra mile and put a turn signal that’s independent of the brake light. ❤

Technically, the GMC Yukon was the first idea of a luxury large SUV before the Navi. It looks good though, but the updated Escalade looks BONKERS compared to this, with doors that automatically close, and the interior finishes look more like a Range now. But this is still quite nice. Not a fan of the rear silhouette.

Alright everyone, Have a 2017 Ford Expedition. After 4 years, it had incredible amount of rust, after 6, exhaust manifolds rusted off, exhausted gone, door sills/ kick plates rusted to hell, control arms, roached, struts all shot, engine misfires intermittently even after coil and plug replacements. All in all, I've invested $86,0000 in this car over 7 years, in sad sorry condition at only 110,000 miles. Maintained religiously. My 2010 Mercury Milan, mad it 107K miles before dying. Noticing a trend with my Ford products.

Looks great! only thing they really need to do to it is to put exposed exhaust tips or pipes on the rear bumpers like they're doing on the escalades and yukons. That'll alone would give it a more sportier look. IMO

@@RemykhTV technically it _should’ve_ been a full redesign as the Navigator has already been refreshed before and a redesign is expected in due. My guess is the saw the 2025 Escalde/Escalade _IQ,_ panicked, and rushed this “refresh” to market. Except this ain’t a mid cycle refresh, it’s a *heavy emergency update.*

Nothing off about the new Escalade headlights. They look great. I missed the waterfall headlight style that they used to have, especially for the 2015 -2020 escalades. For 2025 They finally brought it back and it looks more in line with their other vehicles in the lineup so it definitely works for the Cadillac brand

5 improvements I could see that could make them over the top: 1) A competition to the Escalade V-Series. A high horsepower luxury SUV. 2) Full roof panoramic sunroof. All the way to the 3rd row. 3) Add refrigeration options to both the front and/or second row consoles. 4) Have second row and optional 3rd row fold down seat tables. Great for business people, high end clients, and others. 5) 3rd row headrest TVs.

Finally full electric 2nd row seats! It can definitely be competitive even in Europe. Amazin'! Even long base, all they need to do is to keep the weight no more then 3,5 tone so we could drive it on B driver licence, no needed to have track C driver licence and also keeping it up to 3.5 tone allows cllients in Europe no to pay extra road tax during the each drive.

I Love how all the Uber Luxury SUVs are trying, the new QX80, the refreshed Escalade, and insanely expensive Wagoneer, and now this new Navigator all look gorgeous and they all have amazing tech. I don't think any other class of car is bringing their A-game like these trucks are right now. They aren't being lazy and/or repetitive as far as their designs.... well they aren't being super repetitive, these panoramic infotainment slabs are officially outdated but they found a way to make each of theirs unique thankfully. I honestly can't decide which looks better.

To me The previous body style still looks more aggressive and more stylish. in the interior, a style more familiar to what we are used to seeing, for example, in Hyundai or KIA, is depicted, with a single-faced instrument panel. I don't want to be too critical, but I can't say that in the 2025 navigator there are kind of stunning changes.

I really have to admit man, this 2025 5th Generation-Redesigned Navigator is really the class leading King-Sized 3-Row SUV with such more drastic improvements from the outgoing 4th Gen. Navigator before and it stands out the greatest vehicle in its industry at this time. As I think that the Escalade is kicking rocks despite that Navigator is becoming a comeback for tech and styling.

4:50 thumbs up for Lincoln and Ford on keeping the amber turn signals and making them sequential looks cool too. With LED lights, it’s not difficult to incorporate amber turn signals while still having the unique lighting animations.

I'm a huge fan of your reviews. This interior looks really impressive. The thought I had - does the full-length screen in front detract from the driver's view ahead compared to the BMW screen that stops around the middle of the dashboard? I wonder if this is "too much of a good thing" that compromises visibility. That said, it looks awesome.

Thanks for the vid, great work as always. Commenting on when you said the hands-free driving is now a subscription. Didnt they learn from when BMW almost got hammered for that? No feature already on the car should ever be part of a subscription. Full stop. Even if they need to perform an “update”, it should be included like ALL other software updates are. My 2 cents. Thx.

Anyone who has one of these been happy with the reliability? We have an Explorer ST that has been terrible and we pretty much swore off Ford products. However, I’m digging this.

I don’t have an answer, but i don’t trust the American manufacturers any longer either. I am looking at the Nissan Armada/ Infinity QX80 in 2025 for my next purchase.

The split tailgate is for lemo service providers. It keeps the area covered while baggage is loaded and unloaded.
