With a super charger, a turbo charger, three electric motors, an adaptive air suspension, what could possibly go wrong? I love the XC90. I really believe it STILL has a better interior than the newer GLE, X5, and especially Q7. And when I say that, I'm speaking in detail about material use and overall design. Yes, Sensus needs an overhaul to catch up to the current infortainment trends, but overall execution is impeccable. That said, one thing Sofyan did not address in detail is the complexity of the XC90's powertrain. I think it is a technological marvel, and that poses huge benefits as well as potential pitfalls. It is supercharged, turbocharged, has THREE electric motors, and is AWD. My only concern is long-term reliability of all of those mechanical bits.

*Volvo did not get rid of the fog lights. They just don't put them on the T8 for whatever reason. All the other models have them. Also, this trend of endorsing larger and larger infotainment screens is stupid. It just forces you more to take your eyes off the road because of the unnecessary amount of clutter larger displays have. 9 inches is perfectly fine and the way it's laid out works. There is no reason to fix what isn't broken.

It’s never coming back. Oil consumption problems killed it and Volvo/geely is going 100% EV soon so won’t spend on R&D. It was a very smooth donk though, and a modern version would be perfect for luxury hybrid since it’s so good at idle I couldn’t tell it was on. I thought the v8 was also good.
