Worked for GM and managed to buy a used 19 GS. Came with 9k miles and bought it for 23 grand. This was 2 years ago. The amount of features for the price I paid is unmatched. Would I like more power yes. Am I kept up at night worry about it no. The design is unique and the looks I get are usually “what is that” “didn’t know they made cars like that” all positive. In todays marked I can sell it for 27k. Best car I’ve ever owned

I think they went backwards in terms of design vs my 2012 GS. It looks bland but I would only want it for the tech upgrade. They missed out by not adding a turbo and at LEAST giving it 385 hp

I have a 2013 Regal GS and I love it. My previous cars (going backwards, and I'm 55) were Range Rover Evoque, Infiniti QX70, Mercedes CLK 350 cabrio, Mercedes E350, Mercedes S430, Porsche 911 Carerra 4 Cabrio, Audi A4 3.0 Quattro and the Audi A4 1.8T. As you can see I went through all of the "look at me cars" and I can honestly say, I love my Regal. An oil change isn't $150, a new battery can be installed at AutoZone, and in Atlanta traffic.....its plenty fast enough and has really great REAL leather seats, something my E Class didn't have. The only thing I wish I had on my car is rear wheel drive.

jebril is the Impala the same platform? Everyone I know who bought one hates it shutting down at every stop sign. @@johnwayne7476 Yeah, I almost bit on a Buick sedan or SUV, but that shut-off feature drove me (pardon the pun) towards a Mazda6. At least I can get around 250 bhp with closely equivalent torque. Still, as nice a car it is--everything fits perfectly, smooth, quiet and predictably smooth ride...and that's the problem: it's so predictable it's boring; beautiful interior, earns a "meh" in the excitement category. Thanks for this review. I did an overnight test drive of the Genesis 3.3T and was really impressed. I'm still looking for the right sport sedan. I have that car and the adaptive suspension is much firmer in GS mode than regular mode. The reason why you didn't feel a difference must have been because you rode on smooth pavement. In my area roads are in bad shape and you really feel the difference between modes. 2018+ Regal is an amazing car. I used to drive premium Japanese brands like Lexus and Acura, but I decided to downgrade and got a whooping $14k discount on 2018 Regal Sportback. I love the car! It is heavy and bulky when taking turns, some interior parts are somewhat cheap. But it handles above and beyond luxury. It is a butter-smooth luxury cruiser with extra utility. Bose sound system is great. LED headlights are wonderful. Acceleration is very decent. Fuel economy is about the same as 2014 Acura RDX. But Regal feels very refined. Buyers in the market slightly agree. Last year the Stinger outsold the Regal by a little more than 2000 units. Neither was a big seller, with the Regal having just over 14,100 and the Stinger having just over 16,800. Essentially - they were both equally popular (or not, depending on your feeling about these small numbers): gmauthority.com/blog/2019/02/buick-regal-sales-numbers-figures-results-q4-2018/

I have the 20 inch wheels on my 2017 and I would not recommend it, the 19s won't tranmit as much shock and tire noise from such a huge contact patch. 13:22 ~ I really wanted to like this car. Fantastic sleeper. Nice level of performance. Put in _some_ effort in tracking one down in great condition. But not too much effort. Easily live with it as a daily driver for easily a decade.... Except for the engine. GM's older 3.8L V6 is one of the best engines that GM ever made! No joking, no sarcasm. If you need a car but are on an extremely tight budget, find a just over 100,000 mile GM full-size car with the 3.8L in it. You can find decent ones for right around $3,000. Then, GM replaced it with one of the absolute worst engines the company has ever made! RUN away from the 3.6L V6. That thing is beyond awful. Won't last. Have fun getting it repaired, often. Another good-looking design by GM, absolutely ruined by the 3.6L.

This version at $44k is expensive and if you add all those power upgrades from the Cadillac and options as Sofyan suggested then this would sticker in low to mid $50k, that is too expensive. Okay, the blanks on the console and dash are for Euro and Chinese market versions, and the stretched wheelbase Chinese market executive Regal . Remember, the Regal is made under contract by Peugeot now that Opel is owned by the French. The turbo 4 is gone because of that manufacturing deal, and why it has the V6 now. And the fixation on all LED tail lights.... it is a nice car. However, that manufacturing deal doesn't go on long.... Buick is going to need to design vehicles with Cadillac and Chevy domestically, or specifically engineer cars for the Chinese market... like the Envision or the Korean designed/built Encore....
