Crazy timing cause the actor who plays ram just announced he's gonna be expecting his first child a couple hours ago
@barunjena61712 жыл бұрын
Netflix wasn't bugging. The name of the actor is Ram Charan, but the character he is playing is Rama Raju, and it also the name of Lord Ram, who he is dressed like in the last fight scene with the saffron cloth and the bow and arrow. That's why you see the name Rama come in the last fight scene.
@Sachin_C10 Жыл бұрын
Yes but the lord Rama reference wasn't primarily the focus as that attire was worn by Alluri Sitarama Raju in real life & that is what Rajamouli sir wanted in that scene, yes even ramayana played a role in how cool that shot looked but the attire was clearly knowing the actual history of That freedom fighter in real life.

His full name is Rama Raju who is an actual freedom fighter.. In this fictionalised movie, when he met Bheem (Akthar) the first time, he introduced himself as Raju (as he is in disguise trying to find Bheem) while everyone who know him since childhood refer to him as Ram(a). Both are correct. And Rama Raju's character was played by an actor called Ram Charan. So there is a partial name match of the actor and the character he is playing.

Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR: 1) Both the characters Raju and Bheem were inspired from 2 real indian freedom fighters and revolutionists from indian history, Alluri seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh and Komuram bheem from telangana, ie, from the two telugu speaking states, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule, this movie was about friendship between 2 states... 2) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍 3) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones.... 4) The sets u can see in nacho nacho or naatu naatu song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine.... 5) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence.... 6) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", *few* non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing.... 7) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣 8) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏 9) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene... Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed... 10) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect.... 11) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented,picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything.... 12) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear... 13) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies, a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being... b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly. c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves... d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....

This film has absolutely no business being this damn good, and it legitimately is. It has absolutely gorgeous cinematography, locations, sets. The editing is extremely tight but you never lose track of where things are or what you're looking at. The story has multiple layers. The effects are extremely top notch. There are a handful that people simply do not catch as vfx shots at all. When Ram is chasing the guy at the beginning and loses him in the crowd and the camera pulls way back... the entire shot is entirely vfx. The environment, the people, ALL of it. The train is a large model, mixed with live action in a river, plus vfx. It's an extremely well made movie.

Well.. here's every question you had answered, and some corrections and background info. Unfortunately, this is not a Bollywood product, but of Telugu cinema aka Tollywood. NTR Jr. and Ram Charan (main leads) are playing real life freedom fighters from 1920. Ram Charan plays the role - Alluri Seetaram Raju, aka Rama Raju or Raju. (It's why subtitles sometimes said Ram too) NTR Jr. plays the role - Komaram Bheem, a Gond tribe leader. They are known for making great handicrafts (like the bangle Bheem made in film to "gift" to Malli). The song Bheem sings when he's being flogged is also kinda dedicated to the irl freedom fighter he's playing and thes tribe. The characters were Freedom Fighters, but never met IRL. Director S.S. Rajmouli made the film on the idea of how they might have met, and inspired each other. The end song sequence has many Indian freedom fighters, Yes. There's many film industries in India, Bollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood. Some fans of each industry love hating stuff made by other. You'll probably notice it happening it here too. Anyways, Indian Cinema isn't just Song and Dance, there's many classics and modern films that only focus on Drama or some other genre. What you watched is called a 'Masala' (Spice) film, so called because it's a blend of many genres, Indian cinema and audience loves masala ventures, because there's something to love for everyone. If you are looking for more Indian stuff to react to then do ask Jaby! He'll probably suggest great movies (unless he's playing you). Loved your reactions!

Let me help you with few details regarding this movie and how it has historical connections which makes this movie Great for Indians 😊 1. Ram and Bheem both were Freedom Fighters in real during British rule. 2. Also, Lord Ram was incarnation of God Vishnu before 7400 years before and his wife name was Sita (Same Names are used here) 3. Bhim was also very famous warrior before approx. 3400 years in India and it is said physically he had power of 100 elephants. That is why here Bhim has shown as Physically powerful. 4. Lord Ram wore Saffron cloths and had Bow and Arrow as weapons. Same has been shown in Climax scene. Bow and Arrow was taken from status of Lord Ram by Bhim in jungle. 5. That bike Bhim carried in climax was only 50 kilograms which was known in battles during 1st world war. There are many such historical refrences used in this movie 🤘🙏

The film might get the following Oscar nods: - Best Picture - Best Director - Visual Effects - Sound Design - Original Song (“Naatu Naatu”) - Original Screenplay (long shot) - Editing (long shot)

I just watched this for the first time last night and I absolutely cannot get over it, especially Naatu Naatu. I can't stop watching that dance lol. A couple of my coworkers got really excited when I told them I watched this and the first film they recommended is a movie series called K.G.F. They claimed its an insane movie in India so I'll be checking that out tomorrow. Apparently there's gonna be a third one coming out soon, hugely anticipated.

I'm so happy that you guys decided to watch this movie. This has to be one if not the best movie I've seen this year. I have recommended this movie to everyone I know because it's that good. The first time I found out about this movie was through Corridor Digital, so shoutout to them as well.

Ram Charans character is called Rama Raju. It's like a name-middle name situation. His parents and Sita call him "Ram" but he introduces himself as "Raju" to his friends.
@kindofanmol2 жыл бұрын
57:10 His alias name in the movie was Raju. He used that name to conceal his identity while working under the British. His actual name in the movie was Ram, as revealed during his childhood (flashback) scenes.
@lamiya42872 жыл бұрын
Oh no both are his names only.. Raju is his surname..like a nickname. People who are close to him call him that way(his uncle too calls him raju). Ram is his first name/official name. Full name Ramaraju. He never concealed his name anywhere in the film. Even if he said ram as his name to bheem it's not going to make any difference as bheem didn't knew him anyway. Plus it's shown that bheem knew he had Ram as name as well which is shown in dosti song when ram shows seetha's bracelet and bheem says oh so u both r like "Ram and Seetha".

So in Netflix it probably says Rama because in the movie it was referencing Ramayana (an epic in Indian culture) and Rama is a main character in that epic and Raju was personifying him especially when he gets into his makeup in the forest fight towards the end. I hope I did a good enough job explaining some things :)
@bhanu.012 жыл бұрын
No.. His full name is Rama Raju who is an actual freedom fighter.. When he met Bheem (Akthar) the first time, he introduced himself as Raju (as he is in disguise trying to find Bheem) while everyone who know him since childhood refer to him as Ram(a). Both are correct.

The character Rama is based on an actual freedom fighter of 1920s Named Alluri Sita RamaRaju

Nope. Movie was sure giving reference of Ramayana but the main reason is The Freedom fighters actual name was Alluri Sita rama raju

I love watching reaction videos, mostly to sixties music I grew up on. It's soooooo fun to see the "young people" reacting to songs I've been loving for fifty years. I'm also a great movie fan (dually addicted!) and RRR was one of the very best I've seen, pure cinema. With a message. Just wanted to say that you've been charming and entertaining and I'll be subscribing! Loved your thoughtful commentary at the end.

57:19 to clear your confusion, both of them (Bheem and Raju) were real life personalities, freedom fighters for India, so the director used these characters in a fictional word and made a story - what if both of them met each other? (They never met in real life). So Ram/Raju, his full name is Alluri Seeta Raama Raaju, so sometimes people call him Ram and sometimes Raaju in the movie
@MythicalPhoebe2 жыл бұрын
this movie has all of the bollywood charm, but it infuses it into an epic drama. there's action, musical numbers, romance. it's got everything and i think it blends it all together in a way that's really good.
