A release by Mondo. This 2xLP gatefold release features the soundtrack to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It mainly features the PlayStation soundtrack, but also includes some Sega Saturn tracks on side D. There were 3 variants released, with the limited edition variant being on a black, gold, and bone white tri-split. The other 2 variants were on a bone and silver swirl with a white splatter, as well as translucent red vinyl
Other than an obi strip, no other inserts or extras were included with this release

I wonder what made Konami had a change of heart about omitting "I Am the Wind" for every release past the PS1 and initial soundtrack? I know it's not a copyright reason as Konami fully owned the song; are they aware of the stigma involved with the incongruity of the ballad?
