That's false, Patrice Motsepe is from a royal family at North West Province which is close to Ga-rankuwa. His father was the chief of Mmakau branch of the Tswana people. He is Cyril Ramaphosa's step brother, and we all know that Cyril is from a royal family and that could be part of the reason why Cyril married his sister. However, its true that he did meet his wife at Wits.

@@itumelengkgosana8833 Patrice was born in Orlando East Soweto, go Google that. His father's family is from North West, but him and his siblings were born and raised in Soweto. Their family house still stands to this day, their aunt lives there now. His father went and lived in Pretoria because of being harassed by the then apartheid regime. I can't claim to be from KZN because my father's family is from there. I was born in Orlando East Soweto so I'm Sowetan through and through.
