I give you a tip for the laptop, always place something under your laptop like an eraser or something like that to leave the laptop about 3cm from the table. that way the air flow enters the fans better and gives better performance, always have boost activated and when playing, set the fans to max.

The last few Acer nitro series laptops have been great, the cooling system could probably be upgraded to somthing like MSIs old GX60's this point because this beast will cook your lap with the 3060 in it but it isnt anything a cooling pad can't handle and the preformance of this mobile card is honestly hard to believe. 9/10 a versatile laptop with great sound, great graphics card, high power processor for creators/4k video editing, plenty of usb and hdmi ports with a slightly underpowered cooling system in a lightweight laptop. If you're looking for a 4k ready desktop replacer over a regular laptop, this will not let you down. However, if you are old, do not know what any of that means and want to get yourself or a child a laptop, buy a laptop that is $800 cheaper than this, this is overkill for work, shcool and even gaming and genuinely has enough power to replace most non enthusiasts desktops.

Why this videos relax me a lot? Edit: After watchng the complete video, I realized the Nitro ALSO, struggles with themps as Predator. I have an Acer Predator Helios 300, and struggle a lot with the temps as well, reaching the 90-100°. Had to undervolt, repaste and buy a coolingpad to decrease those temps.

For the rest of the time CPU normally stays at fifty or so, and a bit less for the GPU. I have yet to try and do many other stuff with it since it's only been a month.

Omg I have the Acer nitro 5 too! It's a great laptop! However since it is a budget laptop note that u will have to be careful especially with the screen, since the outer casing is plastic the screen can bend with the plastic pretty easily. So just keep that in mind other than that it is an amazing computer! I got mine with 1 TB of memory with 32 gigs of ram. It's very satisfying to play on. And most games u can play mid to high graphics.

@@mim0081 so if I'm not going anywhere I would usually have it on the charger. But if not at most I can get is about 2 hours depending on ur game setting it can run the battery faster. The computer will automatically lower the screen quality of the game to compensate. There's also nitro sense which u download off of the Acer website that lets u control the fans and battery to go for either performance or increased battery life.

@@zuhdi97 it's a nitro 5 with Intel lol ofc is overheating, I have an older model and if you set it in balance or high performance mode good luck, you can boil eggs on top of it, I needed to use the battery saving mode so it throttle power consumption to try and keep temps under 80 degrees during gaming, ofc that means a big sacrifice on fps, but is that or exp frying your laptop like the one that posted above lol

@@deminiscing get the Ryzen model of nitro 5, for what I could see thermals are way better since amd CPUs are not freaking volcanos like intel, if it wasn't for damn gpu shortage I would recommend better to build a PC than buying a laptop, you will always have heating issues some models more than others but it is what it is, right now I have a rog strix with Ryzen 9 + rtx 3060, as long as I don turn the rtx on, while playing AAA games it runs on very good temps, but it's much more expensive than a nitro 5, I think nitro 5 on paper is one of the best choices for the money, but thermals are an issue, if u get the Intel version be ready to do gaming on a chilled room with a cooling pad lol otherwise you will certainly be watching 90 degrees while gaming unless you underbolt it or change the power settings but this will have an impact on performance ofc
