100% agree with churches having Mass and Sacraments information on the front page of any website or bulletin. They are the most important things done in any Catholic parish, and should be the first thing you see when you hit their website or look at the bulletin.

One of my favorite things to do is to go on a retreat. Every couple months or so I go on a weekend retreat at a retreat center. But even if you don't have a weekend, maybe just a day, or a few hours, to rest and rejuvenate and spend time with God. Maybe going to adoration, a holy hour, praying lectio divina, or even a hike in the woods contemplating God's creation. Even God rested on the seventh day. It's important to take a break from regular life and focus on your spiritual life for as much time as possible. I find that after a retreat, I'm talkimg to God a lot more throughout the day. I hope someone finds this helpful.

Ahhh yay, for some reason I felt some what apprehensive drinking tea while praying BUT I LOVE CHAMOMILE WITH HONEY before/during prayer ☺️ I did it one time it loved it. I’m glad you mentioned it so that I don’t feel so apprehensive about it ❤

I always kneel 🙏🙏🙏 and I always Invoke The Holy Spirit before beginning my prayers...I have a prayer altar with a lamp on the side and as always my devotional candle 🕯and my favorite spiritual books 📚✨

Patrick Lenk! I love him. I listen to his version of Salve Regina when I pray the Rosary. He has an hour version of it on KZbin, Apple Music, and Spotify. Also, if you haven't, listen to his Jesus Prayer. He has hour long versions of it too (in English, latin,and a couple other languages) on KZbin, Apple Music, and Spotify.

My parish is a novus ordo, I would really like to go to a Tridentine mass though. The only TLM parish on the island is a SSPX church that does weekend masses I would go but I have issues with the SSPX.

tinnitus can be annoying. mind the audio levels throughout the day (keep them low(er)) and see if that helps. at some point you might have to have your hearing checked (tinnitus is often associated with hearing loss).

Totally agree that the opportunities for confession should be made more accessible. For something that we, as Catholics, are taught is so important it can be exceedingly difficult at many churches to find the times that confession is offered. Also, top prayer tip: Pray Always.
