Connect iPhone to Mercedes C300 - Pair an iPhone to Mercedes C-Class W205 with Bluetooth

In this video I’ll show you how to wirelessly connect your iPhone to a Mercedes C300 plus present to you a minimalistic phone mount that looks like it should be part of the elegant interior.
To connect the phone first push the telephone button on the dashboard. On the screen select Connect Device. Now on the iPhone make sure Bluetooth is turned on if it isn’t already. On the screen select Search for Phones. Then click on Start Search.
When the phone shows up on the screen click on the name to finish the Bluetooth pairing process. When the passkey shows up check to see if the number on the phone matches what is shown on the in-dash screen. Then click on Yes on the screen and then tap the Pair button on your phone. And at the end you can sync your contacts to the car if you want. At this point you can use the car stereo to make phone calls.
But to play music there’s one more step. Slide the dial up in the center console. Scroll to the Media tab and then click on the Options button. Then click on the Bluetooth Audio Devices button. On the screen select the name of your phone and click on it. When you do that it will enable music playback from your phone through the car stereo. When it’s connected you can start listening to audio wirelessly in your Mercedes!

btw if you have an iPhone with a glass back, the metal disk will break the glass if you drop your phone. Learned from experience. always on the outside of the case
