I've noticed many people in my area have left their Xmas lights up and turn them on at night and I've seen people still with Xmas decorations up, which is pretty odd for this area. I think its cool though, I always look forward to holidays lights and decors on houses. Took them long enough to jump on the trend. "Hot Honey" has been my favorite condiment for a pizza for over ten years. I grow a lot of peppers and get lots of honey from a local farm to cook up my own stuff. I love making a huge pepperoni pizza and just smothering it with the honey.

I agree with your assessment. I subbed ham for one of the pepperoni, thinking honey and ham should go good together, and put it on BBQ sauce instead of their red sauce. The pizza was extremely tasty. I liked the gentle uptick in sweetness from the honey, and the mild amount of "zest" added by the spices... but I have a hard time calling what I ate, "hot." It didn't strike me as any spicier than the pepperoni... maybe a little less. Again, it was a delicious pizza, and I will be getting it again... but as you said, it wasn't dizzyingly sweet, not was it blisteringly hot. It's only a very mild improvement on what was, admittedly, an already good pizza. (When is a pizza place gonna use "Hawaiian bread" crust? Seems like that would be fantastic, and King's would be all over the kind of tie-in...)

I used to dine in at Pizza Hut back in the day (when I was a teen, I am 61 now) and it ALWAYS went like this. I would go in, not get noticed for half an hour then finally someone gets my drink order, another half hour passes then my pizza order. After an hour sometimes a little longer finally I get my pizza. That is why I totally quit them. I haven't been there for years.
