@@realessayog6947 dough is frozen, but as long as your local shop is proofing properly, and following proper Revenue procedures then it should be fresh! There are stores out there who try to hold onto dough as long as they can, which leads to flat/bland dough. Those are the ones abusing the dough, but there’s other outside things that can affect dough. Depends on equipment and such 🤷🏼‍♀️ Toppings and other items are packaged the same as pretty much all other pizza places I’ve been through.

It's actually half of a medium thin crust folded into three triangles like a pizza pamflet. Toppings go in the middle triangle, fold the other two over top then cut down the middle, that's why you get two slices for 6.99. It's basicaly like if took two slice of pizza at a time and ate them like a sandwhich. -a suffering pizza hut employee

The huts favorite seasoning is butter + parmesan parsley mix. (Some locations will use garlic "butter" and from my understanding that's the correct method but my gm trained us over and over to use the regular butter instead for whatever reason)

I've worked for many a fast food chain and many pizza chains papa johns, pizza hut, jerrys, tonys, etc and i must say i consider you a martyr and a saint. You give an honest, practical take on these marketing gimmicks they have. I've never seen you give a bad review to something i didnt agree with. Also i will note they use the breadstick seasoning on this so thats the only difference than a thin crust but its a better deal than a thin crust pizza. Not good for you by any means but it is tasty and thats what the goal is when its late and you got the HUNGER, also you can get the butter sauce on it which enhances the flavor and doesnt effect the crispiness of the crust. people order this a lot. Thank you for your review and i tell people about you all the time but only some know who you are. You should be a staple yotube channel with like 10+ million but we'll get there eventually. Thank you for taking these hits for us, you try the most knarly stuff; i hope the poison they feed us never gets to you and only makes you stronger.

It's less the workers and more the products itself these days. For the prices many fast food places are charging and the lower quality products, comparative to itself just a few months ago, the fast food options are just dropping to me. For the prices, you can get good quality independent owned restaurant food, or much better cooking for yourself and saving good money.

Got this tonight. Meat Lovers option. Very very packed. I measured it at about 2 inches thick and had sauce inside along with the cup of sauce. It is $6.99 here ordered online in NE Ohio. A great product!

It appears as though the Melt he is eating is cold (stiff cheese ooze). Obviously it is not nearly as tasty when cold. I am hoping this is only a reenactment of an early tasting of the hot version. In you professional opinion, does it also appear cold to you?

We ordered 2 for dinner last week & they were way overdone. Make sure they don't leave them in the oven too long. They have the potential to be good, but ours was _so_ crispy that it was almost inedible. we still ate them because I hate to be a complainer, but we were pretty disappointed & pizza hut has been undefeated for us the last 10 times we've ordered from them.

Thank you for your review. I can always count on you to tell it like it is and your description is exactly as I imagined. Pizza Hut’s thin crust pizza with toppings folded over, which is how I usually eat my pizza anyway, a lot of NYers eat pizza that way. I don’t think the price is terrible although it does cost more than two slices of pizza. I hope they keep it on the menu because I would like to try it someday.

I thought this was going to be bad when I got it, I was actually pleasantly surprised. A P'zone was my (now deceased) guilty pleasure so I was excited to try it. It didn't hit the mark of the P'zone, but it was actually good. It also came piping hot and crispy so that may have been a big factor.

Just tried this myself today. I think that the location that I purchased it from added perhaps an excess amount of cheese which tasted great BUT the box was visibly coated in orange grease in the bottom tray when I opened it up. Thus, one side of each slide of the melt was wet with orange grease. I had to douse them off with a napkin. I'm also not a huge fan of the Parmesan cheese and how it sticks to your fingertips. So, tasty item (I do enjoy their thin crust) but messier to eat than I expected.

Some things to note: the cup sizes for sauce are about to shrink, from 3.25oz to 2.5oz. They're going to be phased out soon. The Melts are either to stop being advertised in december or are going away in December, I'm not sure which.

I had one a few days ago The pep lovers one ot has original pep and old work ( cup n crisp) style pep on it the pep has a bit of a spicy kit and the sweet sauce balances it I'd recommend for sure

I tried one on release and texture is fine but it was not good. I don't mind Pizza Hut Pizza but mine were nasty. The flavors were not good, no problem with freshness or anything it was just kinda gross.

We tried them. I got the meat version and she got her chicken parm. We expected them to be like the Hut's version of Papa John's Papadilla. They weren't nearly as large as the Papadilla and with much fewer toppings. We were both still hungry after we finished them. They certainly weren't worth the price.

Half a thin cracker crust pizza, dusted with breadstick seasoning (which I really like at PH). Looks really good actually, sauce on side is good and they give you a nice bit, probably why it cooked so well. I could see myself still being hungry or certainly ready for desert due to the crust type.... looked up price, $7 seems reasonable if the quality is a step above Little Caesar. This looks like a great lunch item that you can eat from your lap in your car.

I've seen several reviews of this item and all of them have been mostly positive (save for perhaps quibble on price or some of the Melts not being as good as others) and most have said that they have good flavor and are filling. The only question I would have is: If the thin crust pepperoni pizza tastes pretty much the same, would it be worthwhile spending more on the pizza melt, and wouldn't that factor have a bearing on it's score? It would be like calling the thin crust something else to sell more expensively. Just my thoughts of course.

Take pizza for example, though practice you learn the right way to mix the dough, what size to make the dough, how to knead the dough, the amount of sauce to use, the amount of cheese to use, which toppings don’t work, the time toppings take to cook compared to the dough, what happens to the pizza at different temperatures, how the oven flavors the pizza, etc. Knowing the process of making a pizza isn’t the same as knowing how to make a pizza of consistent quality that you’re proud to give to others.

That was entertaining, thanks bro! The last time I had Pizza Hut, it sucked so bad that I never went back. However, it didn't suck quite as much as much as Papa Johns and Little Caesars, so I guess that's a plus. I think a lot has to do with where you're located. When I lived in the northeast, these pizza places were pretty good. Here in the south, unfortunately, they are all terrible.

My family and I got this product from Pizza Hut and I gotta agree. I thought it would be greasy and an overrated Pizza Hut product. The meat lovers was a lot better than the pepperoni Having said that. My main concerns of the product was that it was 8 dollars for a folded thin crust pizza (2 of them) Wheras you could get a full pizza that will last longer. My family likes to eat leftovers afterwards as cheap as possible using coupons, discounts, and loopholes. So the aftermath was it didn’t last long Another thing is we like to reheat our pizza and it greased up after the reheat which is just a personal preference issue Pepperoni: 5/10 Meat lovers: 7/10 (better meat flavor)
