I think most calzone type pizzas tend to be heavy on the flavor to make up for the extra thickness of the overlapping crust. The trick is avoiding overuse of the sauce in order to keep it 'clean' whilst offering a more potent flavor via the other ingredients.

Those 5 dollar Little Caesars hot and ready pepperoni was a welcome break for me from dull home food at one time. Cheap and all the pizza I could handle and more. Not an elite pizza but better than any frozen pizza ever. Respect for them for five bucks value.

It’s disgustingly delicious and the garlic smell is divine with that crunchy crust but way too greasy than your average pizza. I ended up eating four pieces last night and it still hasn’t passed through me lol is it bad that I want to order one every week? Absolutely but at a dollar more than the jalapeño slices n stix is an absolute steal. $8.99 for me is not a bad price at all😊

this accidently only reinforces the stereotypes about a certain generation, as all of the other generations before have had little to no issues working and being capable of learning and memorizing complicated items in fast food. Granted minimum wage also went a bit further, but the workload and expectations, until recently at least, have been the same.

The simplification of food and it's prep is a response to lowering wages. Having someone who can make all, or even most of a menu from scratch costs way more than someone who can mix two of bag A with one bag B and add water.

I always dunk calzones in marinara, even the ones that I get from my local pizza place which are actually pretty good and definitely less greasy/salty than this one. For these I would say that you absolutely need the marinara to make them even remotely enjoyable, yet another great take from ReviewBrah.

Actually calzones made by a proper Italian american restaurant or pizza joint are fucking divine. Closest you will get to seeing god on the mortal plane (mainly due to eating an entire one in a single sitting and almost dying 😂)
