I don't say this as an exaggeration - these are legitimately the worst wings I've ever consumed. Popeyes really let me down with their Honey Lemon Pepper wings.

Seems like during the pandemic they resorted to butchering their Chicken Tenders to skinny pissant strips so they'd cook quickly while Customers were waiting in the drive thru line. real chicken pieces seems smaller too. They used to have a great product. Those times seem to have past.

I work at popeyes and let me tell you all the ghost pepper wing flavor sauces are horrible. Even the chicken flavor is bad. And we have so many artificial ingredients and dyes in our food you could put down a horse. Dont even get me started on our cleanliness. I try my hardest to keep that store clean but my coworkers do NOT care, sometimes theyll literally drop ur food on the floor and keep it moving to the customer. Its honestly nasty and sick. Popeyes is a place i would never go to ever again especially after working there.

I know exactly which ones he's talking about too. They're probably called something different in America, but here in the UK, they're called Lockets. It's not just a normal lemon flavour that they have either. It's a very medicinal, menthol-y lemon flavour. Basically all honey in stores now is just high fructose corn syrup that was force fed to bees so they could spit it back up and they’re allowed to call it honey. That’s how they keep it so cheap. That’s definitely what Popeyes is using.

A note on "a decent size": the bigger the wing, the more pumped with hormones and growth chemicals there are in the meat. A chicken wing is naturally tiny and it's arguably better to get 12 instead of 6 or 18 instead of 12 if you want lots of wing - rather than hoping they're big and plump. A small wing is almost always a more natural and less tampered with wing.

I've legit NEVER had a positive experience at any popeyes, they always manage to mess something up, forget an item, undercook the chicken, give the wrong kind, wrong portion, final straw for me, ordered at drive thru, told me to pull up and park and wait, waited a half hour and never got my food, had to go back to work cuz lunch break was over, never ordered popeyes again

man i could never do carnivore i eat mostly meat like 90 per cent but i gotta have bread and ranch i cant live without having a large meat lovers stuffed crust dipped in ranch once a week but i do love me some rare steak n loaded bake potatos tho with butter cheese sour cream and bacon i like it when the potato oaks up the meat juices and it tastes so good i could prolly do carnivore but id prolly eat to much because steak is just so good last time i went to a steakhouse i ordered 3 sirloins rare and i got the meat sweats lol was like havin my head in my arms on the table after 2 and a half of them for like 5 minutes server was like u ok i was like yea just need a minute lol was pretty funny i got high coleserol tho so red meat can mess me up sometimes so i mix in a lot of fried chicken cuz it doesnt have colesterol and my dad fishes so he has catfish frys sometimes where he batters the fish and deep frys it and omg its so good dip it in mayo and its amazing i one time hadded like 8 pieces and my dad was like wtf you ate over half the food lol cuz he was in the garage talking to his friends and i was all alone out back and was like heres my chance lol he wasnt that mad tho just told me to slow it down my dad has always been hard on me tho sense mom died from cancer he keeps saying he doesnt want to lose me and that im eating myself to death but i cant help it i love food a good cheeseburger is life and yeah im over 300 pounds but im dating a black guy who likes bigger white girls anyways so my life is going fine i plan on marrying him we been together sense i was 16 and he was 32 and he was my first time so i know we weill be together forever he can cook some mean fryed chicken to both he and my dad are good cooks but my dad has got on him about feeding me to much but my bf has a kink for weight gain so he just acts like he is listening to my dad but then feeds me anyways i love him so much sorry for rambling but yeah popeyes is rly good
