Honestly, that comment is ridiculous. She asked a mother if she carries a picture of her dead son. What mother doesn’t have a picture of their kid with them? Then she told the mom that she was with her son when he died but she wasn’t. Another woman tells her that it eats away at her that she wasn’t with her dad when he died and Theresa responds by telling her that her dad is saying that it’s not her fault that she couldn’t have known he was going to die. Thank you Theresa. My Dad passed 11 years ago in March. He had been hiding that he had Colon Rectal Cancer. He spent his whole life trying to keep me alive that he neglected himself. What he was afraid of getting he got the worst. He never raised his hand in anger but just before he went to Hospice. Mom had picked a fight with him and he charged at her. I told her to quite and get to her room. Dad and I struggled as I spun him around and put him up against the wall in a police hold telling him to stop. He kept saying Why all of this anger? I told him I didn’t know that Mom wanted him dead long ago. They had been together for 50 years. My Husband and I went through Hell with my Mother. We both are only children. This is my 4th and final marriage. I almost blew this marriage but Dad in his last few days let me have it about my husband because he spent 50 years trying to make Mom happy but he wasn’t rich like her family was. We were never without anything. I carry my phone all the time. Not because I have to but because I kept his old number and I am holding his hand. I always felt I had a beast inside with my temper but I was feeling the beast he had which was him hiding the Cancer. I hope someday I could get a reading. You will know why.

My goodness, this is such staggering bullshit. Meredith should be ashamed for having her on the show. These are the snake oil salesmen of the 21st century. You could see better in any average mentalist show, but at least those guys admit they are doing tricks, albeit really good ones. This is shameful.

I'm pretty open minded and always thought it was interesting watching her show and whatnot... and then I saw her perform live when she toured in my area. I left the performance less than impressed and a little disappointed, honestly. I never really watched her show again after that. The camera's cut out so much on shows like these, though I'm sure we all suspected that already. I'd say she probably only got about 45-50% of her statements correct. A lot of the time when she was clearly way off, she'd throw out a blanket statement about how it's probably because she's picking up on another spirit, or some such nonsense. The worst part is that she kept on reiterating, much as she did today on this show, that if anyone in the audience felt like any of the statements Spirit had made were referencing them directly, they should be assured that this is in fact accurate, and that MANY of us could ascribe these very words to our own loved ones...as if we'd all received the same message but from different Spirits. I can't really comprehend how 100 of us could all be getting one distinct message but it somehow comes from my grandma, your father and the lady in the front rows dog. It is way too convenient, makes little logical sense, and ultimately it ruins the experience. I think she wanted everyone to leave feeling like they got a little piece of the reading for themselves but I ended up leaving feeling scammed.

She's just a cold reader, and not a very good one. Those of you who think she is real, listen to her, she follows the basic cold reading pattern, she says something very general, "She always carries my stuff with her", when someone bites, she asks for more info, then pretends like she knew that info all along. Like, "Oh, that's why I see the two of you...".
