I just don't celebrate Christmas anymore. My Mom and Dad passed away years ago, Dad in 1983 and Mom in 1994, and it seems like yesterday....... I've never really gotten over their deaths, I had such a great childhood and was loved so much, I still cry everyday and especially during the Holidays. I miss them so much! 😢😢😢😢😢

I agree. In my family it seems that my loved ones always passed around Thanksgiving & Christmas. It hasn’t been the same since. The family doesn’t even come together anymore for the holidays with us losing the elders in the family

I to still cry for my Mom and Dad the pain in my heart is always there .My older brother passed ago a year and two months ago and I still cry for him i feel bad because my first family in life they are leaving me I have grandchildren now and Great grandchildren but my heart still grieves for my childhood family ,I ask God to please help me .

I couldn’t care less about Christmas. I do have a special needs child, so I have to do something special for him always. I don’t have to but I want to. I’m usually angry on Christmas Eve and day bc it’s not the same since most of my family is gone. Yet, I feel bad for ppl like me who feel this way. I’m wondering if you’d like to do something for the holidays for nostalgia purposes that’ll make you smile. Invite a sibling, family member, friend, etc. or starting a new tradition helps heal too. I don’t want to live the rest of my life hating the holidays. God bless you. I hope it gets better for you. I also lost a son and have one left. It’s so hard. ❤

I can understand about the month being hard. 😢 December is mine. My daughter who was heavily pregnant at the time found her father. I believe with my whole heart he didn't mean to do it, & tried hard to save himself, however it didn't work 💔 im so glad your beautiful daughter 💕🌹 came threw for you. My brother died on December 10th 2020 from accident falling down stairs fractured his head open and now a friend of mine December 10th 2023 from stage 4 cancer and July 9th 2021 my grandma passed away

Holidays is hard for me to. I lost my sister December 24 2000. I lost my best friend I ever had. I just didn't realize it until she past away at 35 years old from a massive heart attack. I miss her so much.

December was the hardest month for my mom. She lost her mom on December 6th then her brother died on December 25. Christmas Day. So she lost her whole family just weeks apart. Then my dad died, and Christmas was his favorite holiday. She hated the month of Dec. couldn’t wait till it was over and done with. My mom passed in 2013 at the age of 85.

I feel energy I believe it the soul each has just a bit different and one thing I have learned is they are with us so with that said at each holiday , birthday and so on at the payer / meal invite thoes who have passed to join in the festivities and add a bit of humor like be have yourself and so on pointing out names.
