I've noticed when I use the Nyx Sticks as a concealer or corrector, then add foundation on top, it completely wipes off under the foundation. Maybe set it with a very light powder first.🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe the colour corrector doesn't jive with the foundation. As where the red patch is is where you put the most corrector. Just a thought that may be a thing. Not saying the product is good, but that may make it worse.

I used the green elf color corrector in the same way and had the worst time getting my makeup to stick… maybe that’s why it’s happening now?? FWIW, their blue color corrector is the only product that I can mix into my foundations to better match. They all look like the correct color, then oxidize to be too dark. Somehow the blue mixed in fixes it all.

I always try the light skin girl makeup and want it to look like that! And must realize I am medium tan and can’t. Just can’t. I liked the cover girl. Is it my favorite? The next 2 times exactly the same issue Theresa had with it not sticking to random places. Same skincare all 3 times. The 3rd time I took it off and started over same reault. Returned it that day. It was too expensive to toss. I will stick with my Fenty eaze drops which never lets me down. I give up trying different foundation products this is the 5th that I have had to return in the last year.😅

VERY fair, and mature 😂 57 yr old here and I LOVE the elf under eye brightener in fair!! My skin is def aging gracefully but I see clear changes, like my drier, more delicate under eyes. I've always worn light to med coverage foundations and concealers but I cannot find an under eye concealer I'm comfortable in now. The elf under eye brightener disappears light to med circles and fine lines are evened out. It's more creamy than a putty consistency, never cakey and seems to help hydrate my mature under eye area. I use the Real Techniques Brightening Concealer kitten paw brush and it is magical at laying the brightener down. And it's only $7!! 💜 your videos!!

The Smashbox Cali Contour face palette is actually really good. It was the only face palette that I could use every pan & was my everyday one stop get your face done quickly product. I panned it & repurchased. If you are fair/light & neutral -warm & like powders, it could be a good workhorse product for you.

I wonder if a gripping primer would help the foundation? Also is your skin like freshly washed? Did you use a gel moisturizer? Maybe the one cheek was more oily than the other??? Those are the only things I can think of that would explain why it’s like repelling from that one cheek?

I haven’t tried the Covergirl or Chanel foundation, but I do own and love the Rose Inc one for its finish. It is sooo finicky though. I have found 1 moisturizer (Elf Holy Hydration) and 1 sunscreen (Round Lab Birch Juice) that it works with, and everything else makes it pill/lift like crazy. So I never wear primer, corrector, oil, or liquid luminizer under it. Wonder if it’s just the nature of those pigment-in-serum products 🤔

The spot you were having trouble with the Foundation is the same place you put a bigger swath of the NYX corrector. I'd try the CoverGirl again without it ❤

The Simply Ageless foundation in the bottle seems to do best on bare skin. I personally like the compact since like you, I had an issue with the pump foundation not adhering to my skin.

I love yhe NYX concealers. I have dry skin. I wear very little and put it on top of my foundation. I do not like the lip balms. I think the fragrance irritated my lips. They burned after wearing it.
