It is a pity what she allegedly experienced but as long as this case is concerned the man has a case. What the law says is if a partner is not performing their duty in the other room over time it is grounds for divorce. The place she said men can file for divorce,remarry and move on with their lifes without being called adulterers but when a woman does, it is called one is inconsequential to the case in court because the fact is the law is the law. If more women will start sueing these men for same then they will be called same. The truth is our court should start taking care of prolonged divorce cases. In some countries,if cases are prolonged like this one the court will pass a verdict.

Whether or not the law should be changed is not what the public is deliberating on at the moment so you shouldn't be expecting lots of comments on that as opposed to lots of comments on whether or not he will win the case. I hope these divorce cases that has made waves on the internet will prompt Nigerians to look into the issue and hopefully the right changes will be made.

Any activist who intends to work on this case will definitely not go with the woman not being guilty because they know they won't win. You can use the effects of the long stretched court process to make a case that will lead to change you want. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. You can't win a court case with emotions or this is what happened. The facts we are all analyzing are facts presented by her and the facts according to the law makes her guilty. Legally her ex-husband is right. During a period of separation, sleeping with your husband will still be counted as adultery not to talk of sleeping with someone else. @@giovannabrown396 Even in Nigeria it is the same,you are expected to be separated for at least 2 years before you can file for divorce the only difference is Nigerian courts have a way of prolonging the court process which is what happened in her case however the issue of adultery she is being sued for is what is being discussed right now.
