In the summer of 1978 I lived in Dalsbygda with the family of another local Olympic skier named Kare Olav Berg. I recently learned that he passed away. It's good to see that Dalysbyga has another ski star. Jeg onske alt bra for Therese i hennes competition i fortid! Hilsen from Nynorskland i Minnesota!!!

her world champion run and today's victory were incredible. It's a delight to see her running, it looks like she could flight away any second. :) And she's such a cutey.

The best part of all this is that she gets the inspiration and training from the other members of the Norwegian teams such as Bjørndalen, Bjørgen and Berger. Plus she gets 6000 years of refined skiing knowledge. Norway is the home of skiing.

I speak fluent high German and Munich Bavarian dialect but I can only make out a few words with Norwegian dialect! Very frustrating!
